It’s notable that Patrick never talks about his brother except when a pest impersonates him. You wouldn’t know he has a sibling at all except for those moments.

We can guess that it’s because Patrick is a dimwit jerk who alienates people and probably has done the same to his brother. He’s been cut out of family photos so it’s not much of a stretch that he can’t stand a blood relation who does better than him in every metric.

That would be a hell of an interview - what was Patrick like growing up according to Kyle.

While Kyle and Rona did eventually divorce, it was many years after Rona reported Pat to the police for his threats towards Ade, PCJ, and his unborn child. We know nothing of any tension arising between them because of Rona getting his own brother arrested, which I think is one of the most telling things.

Fatrick was cut out of Robinson family photos.
To my knowledge we haven't seen any Tomlinson family photos.
It's still telling though. That his wife's family don't want him considered part of theirs.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kyle encouraged her to call the police. One of the reasons Pat might still be insisting that the police report is false is because he told both Rona and Kyle, but only Rona is named.

Kyle possibly asked to be left off it because "brothers" and it would be a shitty thing to shop your own brother.
But I would be willing to bet whether Rona was alone when Pat saw her or not, the first thing she did was talk about it with Kyle.

It's a good thing Rick was a tough enough dude (and, frankly, a brave enough one who is definitely more well-endowed and manly than any of us could hope to be) was able to intercept and stop the culprit, as he has made clear time and again that he's as tough as they come. Right?

Might have divorced in order to protect her from Patrick. He can't keep Patrick out of his life due to the way his parents are, namely his mother so this was the best option there was. Not like there were any children to make a divorce more painful.

It's also probably out of shame. He must know at some level that his brother is his superior in every way.

This shit was super common in the early days of the internet, back when it was still largely anonymous. You could claim anything you wanted and, for the most part, the only thing anyone could do to refute it was say "nuh uh." But, it was all so low stakes back then. It was all just larping. There were rare instances when someone managed to scam some money out of people by claiming that their dad was in the WTC on 9/11 or some shit and then they eventually got exposed. But, that shit was so uncommon that everyone heard about it whenever it happened. As opposed to now, when it's just what happens every single day.
Pat's one of those guys whose behaviour patterns were set by the early 2000s internet and he hasn't learned a damn thing since then.

My favorite little detail is the twitter notifications at the bottom of the screen. I mean, of course he has notifications on, but it's still funny to see actual proof that he has it set to notify him every time someone commits felony toilet impersonation.

Also, I'm no expert but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that most successful prolific authors do not keep their social media notifications on and respond to every post immediately. Because they're busy actually writing things. Hmm, maybe that's why our pig hasn't published anything in going on five years now.

Perfectly valid question that he responds to like a petulant cunt. And that response, even by Rick's deranged standards, that is one of the most illogical things I've ever heard in my life. The idea that people are doing this shit to him and that they don't want him to post about it makes absolutely no sense. He himself called it "performative cruelty." How can something be performative if no one ever hears about it?

As always, once the floodgates are opened, people suddenly jump in to make the accusations against Ekpeki that they were afraid to make when he was the community's favorite pet. This is all pretty stupid and petty, basically this other Nigerian writer had an online disagreement with Okeechobee and then when they met in person Okalydokaly acted like a big stupid spoiled baby and yelled at him or something.

I love Jennifer's commitment to telling other people that clear troll accounts or random people are "criminals" like they'll instantly turn off their brain and ignore the screenshots or whatever information is in the posts. It's the inverse of his blanket denials of true things he's admitted to. That and his inability to not respond with "enjoy prison, stalker" to literally every single message is really a perfect vision into his intellect and how it interpreted the mantra of #DLTIW.

Completely the same as his belief that he's leading a resistance fighting against fascism by tweeting this stuff all day every day for years on end. A lot of lolcows act like they think words are magic spells, "trans women are women" maybe most prominently but the general dispensation to lie and expect all others to always believe it, but I think Rick may literally believe this to be the case. His frustration and anger is real because of his inability to understand why his commands don't work. Even though this has been pretty much his entire life. Ironically, I think Chris Chan has often been more realistic in this regard than Patirck is. (A lot of Chris' fantasies incorporate universal forces outside of his powers/control at least until he can master them or with the potential, however small, of failure. Which also implies that Chris understands storytelling better too.)
