Chinese/Ebay trash you recommend.

Type 56 carbines, AKA chinese SKS rifles.

Except I think this applies more to the USA's retarded brother up north than the USA itself, because there's more rifles in circulation up there than down here, I don't know if the Canadians have banned the importing of Chinese rifles.

I do know that they refrained from banning/regulating SKS rifles mostly because they don't want to piss the Injuns off, because the rifle is super popular with the indigenous population up there.

My neighbor loaned me a 1/2" drive torque wrench he got from Amazon a few years ago. He really likes it. I liked it enough to buy the set for myself. I mostly use the 3/8". I would probably still buy snap-on or something if it were for commercial use, but for a home garage at the price it would be hard to go wrong.

That's too wide open of a question. There's probably something in every category that fits, but rarely is Chinese stuff branded well enough to make a recommendation.

As far as categories go, I've bought a bunch of odd flashlights and they're weirdly reliable and rugged. You won't get great brightness off them though. Can't post links because it's just trawling through Amazon and eBay categories for impulse buys.

I bought a good flashlight off amazon about 5 years ago (lol 10 years, its now unavailable) based on a recommendation from reddit or some other website. It mustve been overstock in a promo for some business because it has different branding on the side.

It's able to run off either a single AA battery, or a 14500 sized lithium rechargeable (there's a few common lithium batteries that will fit it. The body is wider than a AA) and has a good color temperature. It has 3 modes, high, low and strobe. Its focusable as well. The heat sink is good, it doesnt get very hot, even after a few hours on high.

I also bought this one for my carbine. The switch is absolute rubbish, but the light is not bad. It's a little blue, but its bright. It runs off an 18650, and came with 2 and a chinesium (external) charger. The mount and light are a little big but they do the trick. It's still on Amazon although Feyachi has a better kit available. TBH, I will just shell out & get a streamlight or olight next time.

I left it wide open on purpose.. See what people suggest!

I bought a Zumimall solar security camera to watch my garden they are an obvious knock off of blink and ring cameras. But its so far been the single chinese product thats exceeded both its own marketing and my expectations. The marketing said the solar panel will not be able to keep the camera charged and will only mean you dont have to manually charge it as often. But I have never once had to charge it even when I maxed the sensitivity. I am also surprised its last in the direct sun for 3 years when the other camera I had broke in one.

I hope the CCP appreciates the direct line to my tomato plants.

I will say though, when buying USB slop (like the CH341 programmers), Chinese sellers love using USB 1.0, so ensure to check beforehand and verify that it's using at least 2.0.

For a CH341 it's not an issue. CH341s are usually SPI-based and SPI is really fucking retarded and slow without a $400 chip, thus the programmer is bottlenecked by the SPI interface in spite of using USB 1.0. Still plenty fast, can R/W from an 8MB chip in 1 minute.

If you want to have a fast programmer you're gonna have to pay up, I think there are some I2C based CH341s that are super fast but cost $80.

Regardless, most of the USB slop you find is very high quality anyways.

I came here to recommend these. They all look the same, more brand names than you can count, but they're cheap as fuck, usually built shocking well for the price, and work well enough for normie-style applications. If they're built well they have decent water resistance too. I bought a bunch of these for maybe 2 or 3 dollars each several years ago and I just give them away, great flashlight to give to normies because it's "normie bright," simple, takes a standard battery, and built well.

Word to the wise, get the single mode versions if you can, the "multi-mode" ones have that terrible 3-mode chip that cycles through high-low-strobe and is more annoying than it is useful. "Q5 AA flashlight" seems to be the magic words. Price seems to have gone up lately though, what a shame.

At the moment, HHS tool blanks on eBay - for some reason a foundry in China has stopped making shit HSS and made something good for a change and it's up to the old Sheffield and Pitsburg standards - it's honestly great at the moment stock up on some before the realise and go back to selling there usual mix of horse shit and tinfoil spray painted silver.

This one might be more specialist but Bulk CA Glue, I tend to use a lot of CA to hold stuff on Chucks / Arbours, handles to tools etc they sell the small tubes in bulk miles cheaper than anywhere else and it holds just as well as brand name stuff for what I need.

These Chinese wired earbud headphones (VE Monk Plus) are fucking fantastic for such a cheap price. You can get them on AliExpress in bulk dirt cheap, I used to get them from ebay but the prices got so bad there over the years. I prefer these so vastly to that bluetooth charging shit. They also have a funny Asian Kirby potato man on the packet.

EDIT: I searched harder and they're actually Malaysian. Never mind all Chinese stuff is trash I guess.

The switch on mine is starting to go. It's very sensitive now, and switches mode, with a slight touch. The button is recessed so its not a huge problem. The full click power on/off works fine, it occasionally switches mode unexpectedly.
It was still a good purchase. That light was about $5 when I bought it and it's been used enough that the finish is wearing off in places. I recently used it nightly on a week long hunting trip where I, and everything I brought, was covered in wet clay from the day I got there, until the day I left.

Mine is marked "FG-K1" on the opposite side of the FordEx branding.

I also prefer wired headphones. I bought a bunch of VE Monk a few years back for about $5 per set. They sound better than some of the (marginally) more expensive earbuds I own (JVC, Xiaomi). Some came sealed in that same little baggy, but the first pairs I got were in different packaging. I have another set of VE earphones that cost a little more, maybe $20 and they have about the same sound quality, but I find them more comfortable. I think it's this set.

To know what is good and what is bad from Chinese company, one need only look at their past.
China fucked up so much iron that people starved- don't get anything where you're depending on the strength of the metal for an operation. I wouldn't even get a chinese shovel.
China excelled in making textiles, and has a rich history of textile manufacturing- clothes are generally a save bet. Stick with things that are simple, and you'll be OK.
Chinese electronics manufacturing processes were top of the line in the 70s, fell behind in the 80s.- Electronics are great, as long as it's simple. don't get anything modern.
and so on and so forth.

Any tool that measures something important or imparts importance force.... Pay some money for it and make sure it's not Chinesium.

Torque wrenches, levels, similar stuff
