I personally think Aaron was more motivated by the ability to party hard on some other guys money. I don't think his podcast was part of the calculation for him. Aaron's podcast strategy involved constantly working every angle he could to get closer to Anthony Cumia and get a deal with compound media. That was the whole basis of his association with Geno Bisconte and the constant sucking up to Geno he did.

Free Booze, Free Coke, endless partying on Nick's money and Nick's wife thrown in with the bargain? Yeah. Aaron is the type of guy who is going to be all-in on that. He is also a short-term thinker who wouldn't look at the long angles as far as where the whole thing would go. I'm not PLing but the state I'm in has classes specifically for parents/caretakers who are recovering addicts on how to deal with their kids without turning to drugs.
