Correct. Trump rightly pointed out that Cheney and her Dad (a man literally called Hitler 2.0 from ~2003 to about 2015) are warmongering bastards who sit on DC and laugh about going to war while the people doing the dying are dying thousands of miles away and don't really get a say.

So you're saying, vote to make sure you get veto power over your kid's reproduction, right? That's what this really is. You want to be able to push her into killing your grandchild because it didn't have the daddy you wanted.

And of course, she doesn't have to abort, no no. It'd be her choice, right? Of course, if she didn't abort, you wouldn't help with the kid the way you might have if she'd waited for some appropriate amount of time and you liked the daddy. She has to fend for herself. She got herself into this mess. She had choices. She chose to have the baby, so she can take responsibility for it.

That's what they're saying when they say "vote like your daughter's rights depend on it." That's the real message. "Imagine the baby daddy your daughter might get stuck with if you don't set this right."

It's one of those lines people like Patrick Tomlinson (abandoned his daughter and forfeited his rights to her, he literally wants her to meet him when she is an adult of her own volition, but on his terms) think is too big brained for Conservatives to counter.

Ultimately, I think the abortion debate is mostly faggots defending large pharmaceutical companies the right to biological materials to test on without any chance of needing to pay the family any compensation if they find a cell line or something that can be tested on for a century like HeLa cells or other cell lines harvested from terminal or abnormal patients. The actual debate of "when is it fine to determine personhood" is something that's been settled since English Common Law was created. Children have property rights, even the unborn can be heirs. The issue now is that with technology we try to introduce a way to deny humanity to something that is human by showing it's development. I do think it's murder, but I can understand a woman agonizing over carrying her rapists child, but I'm not a sins of the father person. That is a very individual thing and I am not completely unsympathetic to women who feel trapped by that.

My nigger in Christ “the establishment” are all preparing for a Trump blowout. If the fix was in, shitlib rags that have endorsed Dems for half a century wouldn’t be withholding a Kamala endorsement. Dem candidates in PA wouldn’t be bringing up how buddy-buddy they are with Trump in their campaign ads. Jeff Bezos wouldn’t be groveling for forgiveness from the right on the front page of the Washington Post. You don’t knife your candidate in the back like that unless you’re 99.99% sure they’re going to lose, because if they win you know that they will never forgive your betrayal.

Meanwhile, the pro-life Boomers I've known throughout my life are like "I would never want my kids to feel like they couldn't come to me with a problem or to ask for help."

The system, begrudgingly as it may be, is accepting the reality that Trump is back. Likely grateful in some ways. He fixes the economy, they try winning in 2028 with someone way better than Kamala, then take credit for it. In a way it lets people forget how shit the last 4 years were so they can try again later

Even if Trump wins, he'd need to win the congress solidly or he can't do much. Irregardless, I just want Trump to win because I don't want to be reminded for the next 4 years our president is fucking Harris and because it would be cool to see the 2nd president with two nonconsecutive terms in my lifetime. Even if he's ineffective because Congress is blue or purple, at least I get to see that.
