I put my money on Harris. Not because I want her to win, but because I'll have some copium if she pulls off a miracle. That way I win either way. I'd be happy to lose every cent I put up if Trump wins.

Here's the official @Penis prediction (TM):

The 2016 map + Nevada for Trump.

I could easily see Michigan going blue. Kind of funny to think of Wisconsin to the right of Michigan, but alas, I think thats how it will play out this time.

I could see Minnesota going tilt red, in a Trump shock. Its unlikely to happen with Walz as VP. However, MN has been slowly trending right. If Vance is leading the Republican ticket in 2028, I think Minnesota will be THE battleground state. Quote me on that. Every time Minnesota gets brought up in the 2028 run, think of @Penis.

I'm gonna go ahead and say it. I think Kamala being an ethnically ambigous minority woman hurts her chances. I think its going to be a tough sell for the voters in a lot of these "blue wall" states. She already has an uphill battle with Biden being associated with her name. Nobody seems to be bringing this up. I think Hillary being a woman was a subtle factor working against her in 2016. Its going to be difficult for people to see Kamala as "Presidential". Polls reflect that. Her word salad interview style isn't helping, either.

As always, I'm dubious of the polls. Both in 2016 and 2020, the polls GROSSLY underestimated Trump. Like, to an embarrassing level. The pollsters lost all credibility. It seems odd to me that they are saying Trump is up this time around. In 2016/2020, I was convinced the polls where a psyop to demoralize Trump voters. Could they be a psyop this time around, making the race look closer than it is to get Kamala voters off their asses? Could they be underestimating Trump once again? Or, could they be overestimating Trump this time around, overcompensating for their failures in the past two Presidential elections?

Its important to note that, in 2022, the polls underestimated Democrats handedly. Its difficult to draw conclusions from that. That was a midterm election, and in the wake of Roe V. Wade. Very different situation. Regardless, I don't think anyone truly has a perfect idea of what is going to happen on Tuesday night, going from polls alone.

If Trump wins I'm sure there will be a liberal Jan 6th that fails horribly but is also 100x more violent.
It will be a January 6th of love. Actually, there was one guy at Jan 6 that sold footage to two left wing news sources for a total of $70k. He was applauded as a citizen journalist leftist who risked his life in the event, but later it came out he was so fucked in the head that AntiFa rejected him and he could be heard of footage he didn't submit trying to instigate violence during the event while right wingers told him to fuck off. He was interviewed and applauded by those media companies prior to this. Woops.

I'm still not voting

Made me think of this W.E.B. DuBois quote:
Is the answer the election of 1956? We can make a sick man President and set him to a job which would strain a man in robust health. So he dies, and what do we get to lead us? With Stevenson and Nixon, with Eisenhower and Eastland, we remain in the same mess. I will be no party to it and that will make little difference. You will take large part and bravely march to the polls, and that also will make no difference. Stop running Russia and giving Chinese advice when we cannot rule ourselves decently. Stop yelling about a democracy we do not have. Democracy is dead in the United States. Yet there is still nothing to replace real democracy. Drop the chains, then, that bind our brains. Drive the money-changers from the seats of the Cabinet and the halls of Congress. Call back some faint spirit of Jefferson and Lincoln, and when again we can hold a fair election on real issues, let's vote, and not till then. Is this impossible? Then democracy in America is impossible.

My prediction is that Trump will lose, claim voter fraud, and pursue legal avenues to win states that he lost like last time, only now his supporters know they'll get reamed by the federal government if they even think about protesting on Trump's behalf, so it'll just fizzle out and die instead of go out with a bang, with Trump probably ending up in prison at some point while bitching about how unfair it is instead of actually doing anything to stop it. The age of Trumpism will be viewed by historians as the death rattle from White America before it became a permanently electorally disenfranchised, spiritually broken, despised minority.

Either that or Trump barely wins, in which case he'll pardon himself and everything else that I mentioned will happen next cycle. Interesting times!
