Polls open on the east coast in 20 minutes.
Whatever happens today, it’s been a pleasure shitposting with you all.
This reminds me, I gotta finish Majora's Mask this week. All I need is the final stretch and that damn meandering Anju and Kafei quest.

To keep it on topic, here's hoping Trump wins as well. Best wishes from Brazil!

Against my better judgement, I’m going to go vote in person when I get off work today later this evening rather than in the hour before work. Not sure if there will still be a line around 6PM (usually there isn’t, but I’ve only thus far voted in local elections where I live), but I don’t trust VBM and I didn’t take any measures to vote early.

After that, I’ll probably order some pizza and drink myself to sleep. The forecast for Trump looks good, but that won’t stop me from stressing out and tempting me to tune in to the results; it’s Clown World, after all.

I've heard Hillary was the one not so interested in Bill. She had her own side pieces, and rumors were that they didn't even sleep together. There was that one dude that people theorize is Chelsea's dad, for instance.
It was a marriage of convenience for both but Hillary at least bothered to be discreet.

Bros, even though I already voted I'm still doing my part to help Trump in PA. While my parents and I are all voting R, my two siblings are both young libs who aren't particularly invigorated by Kamala because she's not calling out Israel for the "genocide" in Palestine...and they admit she's also about as charismatic as rotting roadkill. Despite my efforts, they refuse to vote for Trump because to them, Republicans are bigots who want to end abortion and gay rights (lmao, if it means anything they're both full-time students, hence why the putrid state of the economy doesn't matter to them).

So, I tried to convince them to vote Green, since they're pro-abortion and pro-Palestine. Last night, they both said they're just not voting. Hey, it's their decision not to give Kameltoe two precious votes in Pennsylvania, not mine. I have a strong feeling they're not the only ones.

MY THOUGHTS REGARDING THE SENATE:

With Manchin leaving, and West Virginia being hardcore GOP and Jim Justice already being its governor and a popular one at that, Justice is a shoe-in for Senator. That's one seat the Dems will lose for sure.

Montana is also hardcore Republican, and Jon Tester's voting record as of late will likely cost him his seat to Sheehy.

Sherrod Brown is also incredibly vulnerable right now, since Ohio just keeps trending more and more red, and his fellow Ohio Senator JD Vance's momentum with Trump is likely going to get him replaced by Bernie Moreno.

With those three, Republicans will gain control of the Senate, provided no sitting Republican gets beaten, which I don't see happening. The only GOP Senator that is remotely vulnerable to me is Ted Cruz, but I don't see Texas getting rid of him.

The long shot I'm personally pulling for is Bob Casey Jr. getting the boot, because I immensely dislike him. Unfortunately I don't see it happening, but if it does I would be incredibly happy.

This will be the post that I will be replying under the Community Features Submissions thread, formerly known as the Community Driven Happenings Feed. Due to the new rules posted by Null that removes the fun of making a happening, all links will be Kiwi Farms links and the post will have no colors, no headings, and alignment being the default left.

I am making the autistic risk of staying awake tonight to keep updating this post with each electoral win happening by each candidate. The purpose of this post is so that election news don't clog up the Community Features Submissions thread as well as be the center of information for people following the site's political threads. So unless I somehow die before election night, this post will go live at 6:30 PM today.

Also will be including the post link to Kino Casino's election stream with Null as a guest.

Thoughts? @Useful_Mistake , @Francis York Morgan , @REGENDarySumanai , @Null

Stuff to note about this post:

Timeline will be formatted as this:

Example

TimeHappeningElectoral VoteTrumpHarris
7:00 PM (15:00)Trump wins Florida (link to post)3030-
7:15 PM (15:15)Trump wins Georgia, a swing state (link to post)1646-
7:30 PM (15:30)Trump wings Virginia, a blue state (link to post)1359-

Important Happenings will be only if a candidate wins a swing state, or a state of the opposite color (Trump, a Republican, winning a blue state). Example is based on the table above
  • Trump wins Georgia, a swing state. Trump won Georgia back in 2016 but lost it in 2020. (link to post)
  • In a shocking victory, Trump has taken Virginia, a solid blue state, making it extremely likely that Trump will win the presidential election. (link to post)
Florida is ignored for being a red-leaning state. However, if Harris wins the state, this will be an important happening. I will consider red-leaning states as red states and vice-versa for the blue states.

I understand how you feel on this one, but McCormick is a solid neocon/GOPe candidate, Pat Toomey with a little more spunk and really no better than Oz or any of the other lame R senate candidates of the past few cycles. We are so fucked as far as the Senate goes that Fetterman is literally the best we’ve had since Arlen Specter.
