Democratic Underground might be worth looking at if Trump keeps his current odds. They are unhinged. Like Reddit on HRT and expired anti-psychotics.
Oh, honey hush. The Boomers and early Gen Xers (and a smattering of Silents) on that site are legendary in their hivemind groupthink. They are the militant wing (emerita) of the loony establishment left (but they still LARP as anti-establishment like they did 60 years ago).

Watching DU's General Discussion board in 2016 was absolutely amazing. NaCl by the truckload lol.

The fact that there's any red on this map at all is surprising, state subreddits are all notoriously liberal and ban conservatives immediately usually.
It doesn't matter how conservative your city or state are really to get anything but a liberal collection of voices on reddit, I used to browse my hometown sub ages ago just to pick up the gossip and despite the city and state always going blood red every election, it was a collection of liberals whenever they got political.

Google is interfering in the Election as of right now.

I searched it and google sent me the same on both. They don't give a flying fuck.
so I tried it but the only ones that brought up the map are either "where can I vote for harris" or just "where can I vote"

"where can I vote for kamala" or "where can I vote for trump" both give the same result (no map), so as much as I hate google and know that they're fucking around in other ways I think this is a case of their results being dogshit. Or maybe it's intentional, I don't know. Google results generally suck ass so it doesn't surprise me.

what site are you guys using to follow results, or are you just reading xitter
The New York Times was actually the gold standard for election dashboards back in 2016. They had a meter that showed likelihood of victory based on returns thus far. It was a lot of fun following the ebbs and flows.

In 2020 they initially had that functionality, but later disabled it midway due to the mail-in ballots throwing everything off. Hoping they have it back in 2024.

Pretty much any major news site that you choose to use will suffice, in any event. They're only going to slightly differ in which states they call and when. Lots of them go off of Associated Press race calls.

The state subreddits are just a small group of your most vocal, terminally online liberals for each state. (A bigger group if it’s a blue state).

Most people that you’ll actually talk to won’t know that it exist. Or can count on one hand how many times they actually looked at it.
