I'm not sure that people from YouTube know his activity on Twitter but I do think Doob's bit is getting old. It actually has gotten old a long, long time ago, which is random/loud=funny. The only video I've ever watched from his that had an original punchline was the Confederacy video, albeit it was unoriginal, it was at least different from 99% of his content.

I think that's actually the biggest problem with his content. YouTube animators should provide:

• An interesting or humorous narrative (Doob lacks this consistently)
• Noticeable effort (Doob can't draw past a 3rd grade level, nor does he care to do backgrounds/shading)
• Originality (Doob's video ideas are stolen from Xitter fans)

Now I don't mean to say you need all 3 every time to succeed but if you don't even have one then I think it's hard to retain an audience. It's painfully obvious to the average Joe that Doob's video quality has tanked and the ideas are starting to blur together. Oh wow, funny gimmick where some character's innocence is protected (Winnie the Pooh) because they are so heckin' wholesome. Entire personality and storyline shifts happen within seconds so that Doob can do this same shit over and over again. It even seems like if you look at his videos from a year ago, the parody character designs are so much easier to grasp than whatever blob fat fetish shit he's putting out now.
