Looks like the AP finally caved and called the race for Trump.

I wonder what would be the first executive orders or laws made under his presidency

  • I think we will see the pipeline coming back.
  • I'd like to see election day being a federal holiday.
  • maybe go after esg/woke culture in entertainment that lead to discriminatory practices.
  • go after monopolies hence why businesses hasn't endorsed & try to suck up to trump.
  • Just wreck Fani Willis & Jack Smith's shit
It would be great if he went all in. I doubt he's going to be very active in politics after this. Real question I'm wondering about is who will succeed him.

To all democrats out there like myself - relax, half the country is happy today and got what they want, have joy in your fellow man's happiness. Let them have their moment! On a more pragmatic level, he has pretty much the house and the Senate too which sounds terrible but it means it is their show for at least 2 years and can't finger point over the aisle.

The world will not end. Today is doom for us, and joy for the other half, as it was 4 years ago. Congrats are deserved.

Guys I am anti gun except when I am given over to foid hysteria and personally feel unsafe
I mean, I agree with this, even if she's a fucking retard. It's reasonable and responsible for women to carry a gun for self defense. God made man, and Samuel Colt made them equal. I wish more people carried guns for self defense. Guns should not be a political issue.

One thing I predict is that Tim Walz is going to weather this better than Kamala. Kamala's political career is 100% done but typically failed VPs generally do fine when the main guy loses. Like Paul Ryan went from failed VP to Speaker of the House.
Yeah, and to be fair, Walz probably had little to do with this fail. He gets propped up unexpectedly to support a candidate that is widely hated and completely incompetent. He did his best but there was no saving that.

counterpoint: this race probably cemented that he's done in terms of a national profile.
He can go fuck up Minnesota again or fuck up Congress on Minnesota's behalf, but he's got no appeal outside of the land of 10,000 lakes.

Then again that's still weathering things better than Kamala because even California doesn't want her dumb ass near their politics, if the 2020 primary and word of mouth are anything to go by.

"too big too rig" worked 😎
On the one hand I'm utterly amazed it actually worked; I certainly hoped it did but I was trying to be realistic, though that might've been pessimism. Can't really blame those feelings after everything that's happened the last 4 years.

On the other hand he absolutely needs to use what looks like an imminent full sweep of both houses of congress to enact voting reform/security, because I'd argue that "too big to rig" was something that will only work once in our lifetimes, much like how democrats blatantly stealing 2020 has, as of tonight, proven to be something they can only do once.

What are they talking about? 45 is a geriatric pregnancy, not 35.
36 and up. That's the metric that I always learned, and delivered two babies. You're technically correct in saying 45 not 35, but it seems disingenuous.

This is not an entirely agreed upon age as well, and continues to change as medicine gets better.

These idiots think Harris lost because she wasn't left-wing enough despite being the most left-wing senator in California
Just delusional people who think prison abolition, decriminalization of shop lifting, and fracking bans are popular. Dumbasses in general really.
These people are so delusional not seeing that she had to let up on some of her more radical policies, she knew from the beginning it was costing her big

Even still the fact she lost this badly compared to the dude she was supposed to replace is going to make the left turn on her. We're going to see a lot of leftist seethe about how Kamala was the wrong candidate and they shouldn't have replaced Biden. Even though they were fully on-board with replacing him and threw him under the bus at the first opportunity.
If they didn't try to pass off that demented husk in the first place (going into the '20 election), and if she wasn't fully complicit in trying to cover it up (going into this year's election) the Democrats could have found a better candidate that resonated with the voters and may have given them the win they wanted.

But no, they had to be greedy, corrupt, lying assholes. This is entirely of their own making. They've been hoist by their own petard
