Clallam County I believe was the single last remaining bellweather in the country after Ohio was won by Trump in 2020. It voted Trump 2016, Biden 2020… and now… Kamala in 2024. I got in an argument with a few friends over this point. I didn't vote because I have similar feelings about the system as Null, it's all just a shame and means nothing. They kept hammering the 'but you're part of the problem' nail. My counter was "What you're assuming is if I DID vote, it would have been for Harris." Conversation ends there. Feels a lot like following the DEI/Sweet Baby discussions, people just assume you'll partake of their thing if they can just get you to agree.

1. Biden fucked up the economy, causing prices to skyrocket (Harris is his vp)
2. Harris was put in too late and ran a bad campaign (abortion was her only real policy, she mostly complained about trump)
3. Elon being pro Trump and owning Twitter allowed things that the previous owners of Twitter would have buried for the democrats
4. The Republicans pushed back against voter fraud (the biggest reason)

Except for the end of the race, I have to say that Biden was really boring and clearly was not running the US to the point where everyone I know, no matter their ideology, all knew he wasn't the one in charge.
