Corissa, for all her faults did a better job answering the "where mah monies" question. Read purely at face value, such as a fan would, hers was straightforward and almost kind. J's response was full on seethe and cluster B manipulation.

Obvious attempt at manipulation aside, this is a telling sentence. Why wouldn't she have the money? It was meant for the surgery and the surgery did not and will not take place. If she spent the money on nonrefundable expenses related to the surgery, like a down payment or a hotel room, receipts would be easy enough to post online and effectively shut down any scamming accusations. But if the money went towards anything else besides its intended purpose and is now gone, then she essentially committed fraud even if that was not her original goal when she made the fundraiser. There is no acceptable defense for stealing from people who have dipped into their own pockets to provide you with the financial assistance you asked for, which is why J is throwing a tantrum and talking about how wronged she was.

She didn't get the surgery she so desperately needs and the mean doctors were fatphobic and are ruining her life, but sure, you can have your twenty dollars back just so long as you realize that all your problems pale in comparison to hers. She doesn't care if twenty dollars is a lot of money to anyone who follows her, because to her it's an insignificant amount that she can devour in the blink of an eye. She just outed herself as a massively privileged brat and is too stupid to realize it.

So this whole GFM grift has got me wondering…

While we don’t know for certain that any of the funds raised were used towards the home reno, the timing is suspicious to say the least. Even if Coco got some kind of home improvement loan (fat chance) I think it’s reasonable to assume it didn’t cover the entirety of the bathroom project. These two are so financially inept I doubt they could budget a trip to 7-11.

So if J and Coco were dipping into the GFM fund, that could mean that J knew far earlier than she announced publicly that the surgery was off.

However the anesthesiologist is usually one of the final parts to surgery prep, so she couldn’t have known too far in advance. So who knows?

Curious that Coco has yet to show off the finished bathroom. I know they were holding off on the floors, but surely the other features like wall color and lighting could be shown. Unless it’s of course a total fucking disaster with obviously shitty work.

I will say that gym stationaries have a habit of breaking rather regularly because fatties like to plunk their corpulent asses on them without regard to their weight limits and gym staff doesn't bother protecting said equipment. They also aren't typically regularly serviced (which should happen much more frequently than required by the manufacturer considering how overtaxed those machines are with fatasses demolishing the bearings, belts and joints/stress points of those machines) which leads to regular breakdown.

However, it's fun to postulate that Corissa was a considerable factor in demolishing the poor LifeFitness cycle.

She outright said it: She deserves that money as recompense for all the "emotional labor" and "retraumatizing events" she suffered (aka arranging for a cumulative hour or two of doctor's appointments in the space of an entire year, most of which took place over Zoom). Obviously being expected to expend even this miniscule amount of effort is more than enough justification to reward herself with a three-restaurant Doordash food orgy paid for by other people's money, and anyone saying it isn't is just a troll being downright cruel.
