I cant believe im gonna say this but someone needs to actually slam reddit for this, there are like hundreds of subreddits made exclusively to doompost and radicalize people, spewing bot garbage propaganda day in and day out with the only goal of making people hate republicans.
No wonder a fuck ton of people are killing themselves, and reddit is not the only site doing this, but they are probably the worst in sheer volume.

I still remember how most posts in r/politics were about trump, even during the first half of the biden administration where he was a non entity. Whoever is ruling reddit right now is ruining peoples lives and no one cares.

I have a stupid question and this is probably not the best place to ask, given how quick it's been moving but lol:

My grandparents drank the Democrat Flavor Aid super hard (they always have), and my grandma today was going off about how they're going to forever ban D&C procedures, even for non-abortion reasons.


And this is my stupid question: is there any merit to that? Or is my grandma just extra retarded? (It's possible that she is.)

D&C procedures aren't just used for abortions. They're used for cancer diagnostics as well.

This is my biggest gripe with democrats/lefties: they take one thing and boom! It's a fact and you're racist and homophobic and whorephobic for trying to get sources and context.

Was looking for information on post-election suicides this time and I didn't see anything immediate and apparent. I think this might bullshit.

However, theres a paper from 2011 about post-election suicides between '81 and '05. Completely different world from our own, however research is research baby.

I'm in Tokyo for vacation at the moment. The vast majority of them do not care and haven't said shit, not even the other tourist I see around have thrown any sort of conniption fit. The only dude I've heard talk about it here has been one of the hotel workers where I'm staying at and all he said to me was that the TV stations around the area "got it wrong the entire time."

The Japanese generally do not care.
