Will this be the death knell for celebrity endorsements?

Nobody gives a fuck what celebrities think anymore. We already know what they think, all the time, because of social media. The mystique is gone. They are exposed. They have no special knowledge that the plebs aren't privy to. They know nothing more than the average Joe on the street.

Democrats don't clean house, they blame people. If they cleaned house we would have LGB and distant memories of the T by now.

I'm sure there's some campaign staff getting blacklisted as we speak, especially since that was Kamala's MO during the 2020 primary and while VP. Conveniently for the consultant class, Harris herself is so terrible she can catch a lot of the blame. There's also lots of ready-made cope available: Biden dropping out was the problem, hiding his decline was the problem (easy-to-discard scapegoats with that one), the media was unfriendly, etc. That's just easy groups of scapegoats, before they blame "random" bad luck like inflation, assassination attempts, Israel-Gaza war, etc.

Modern American leftism is held together through rigid ideological dogma, and loose affinity group ties. They forge alliances across completely disparate, competing groups, then chain the blocs together to form collective power. You can't talk about discarding groups without discarding the entire ideology of groupthink and collectivism. They just can't do it. It's got to be scapegoats and narratives, to the bitter end.

It happened in 2020. After seeing how reactionaries they are and how we see how they react and prejudice just like the average Twitter user, the people don't listen to them anymore.

And my God it was time. They need to be reminded that their only job is to entertain, nobody gives a shit about their politics.

So, how long do you think Democrats will have their temper tantrums on social media? They were regularly told the race would be super close from pollsters, only to find out it wasn’t. It’s truly amazing to witness people so disconnected from reality

If I recall, that was one of the places that was having an issue and had to wait for ballots to be reprinted and extended the voting deadline to 10:00PM...

Cambria County, like most of PA not Philadelphia, Allegheny County or Harrisburg is pretty red, so it's likely McCormick's to lose. What's telling about that result is, much like in the other swing states, there was an effort to engage third parties [likely to pull votes away from the Rs], but turnout was too big to rig. Trump spent a shit-ton of money and time in PA, which may have pulled McCormick over the top.

It makes me wonder, given how narrow the D candidates victories were in WI and MI, why he couldn't drag them across the finish line.
