I'm starting to get sad now my fellow A&H shitposters.
The harsh truth is we will never see another election cycle like this. It was truly a once in a lifetime event and in 2028 I dunno if I will be alive that interested in the process like I was this time.
We truly witness something great, something unique, something that will be actually be written down in the history books and talked about for generations. A great battle against an implacable foe with the balance of civilization going to the winner. The Highest stakes. And it was won.
Life is always a little more grey the day after a victory. The joy is in the fight I think, while winning is sweet vindication it's the battle that makes the blood pump and makes you feel alive. All that's left afterwards is the hard, thankless job of making the promises given come into fruition. Which is as important but not nearly as interesting.
Ah well...all things pass in time I guess. I am just glad I was here to watch the event go down in person and not reading about it 50 years later.
