Pardon him for what? The federal cases are done now. Only Georgia and New York are left. Georgia is going to have a counter investigation into Fani Willis if Trump is smart (and also take a shit on all of Fulton to help Vance in 2028). And Georgia courts are likely going to pull the ejection cord.
Leftie lawfare is a favored weapon of the uniparty, and just because the current cases that happened under biden are only X, doesn't mean that they wont' decide Biden betrayed them and to punish his son with Y. A presidential pardon severely fucks over that avenue since the state levels have already gone gently on their cases.

Trump will inevitably die in office after a year or two, he's fat as fuck and 78 years old. It's clear from his speeches that he's mentally fucked. I hope you're all happy that Peter Thiel is gonna be president for the next 8 years when his pet fag Vance takes office. You have handed the country to the gay billionaire silicon valley elites you claimed to hate so much. Congratulations on turning the most free nation in the history of the world into an oligarchy. You all deserve the dark future you have ushered in by voting for this retard.
Stop making my kind look bad. You are a shit opossum.

I was checking in on faggots of yore

Jarbo's face or RTU fits the perfect mold of every weak white fuck that would be seething at this time

Pre-emptive pardon for everything and anything. A blanket claim of "All wrong doing forgiven" permanently cutting off all venues of attack both current and possible. A blank check. And because it comes from the sitting President of the opposing party, utterly acceptable and proper constitutionally. No crisis, no risk, nothing. Just Trump is now completely immune from all prosecution for all acts Official and Unofficial he has already done.
And then they would say its "Trump admitting to the insurrection!" Using the old "accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt" reasoning and try to block him becoming president.

You cant cut deals with Democrats in their current state unless you have the power to punish them.

I'm starting to get sad now my fellow A&H shitposters.

The harsh truth is we will never see another election cycle like this. It was truly a once in a lifetime event and in 2028 I dunno if I will be alive that interested in the process like I was this time.

We truly witness something great, something unique, something that will be actually be written down in the history books and talked about for generations. A great battle against an implacable foe with the balance of civilization going to the winner. The Highest stakes. And it was won.

Life is always a little more grey the day after a victory. The joy is in the fight I think, while winning is sweet vindication it's the battle that makes the blood pump and makes you feel alive. All that's left afterwards is the hard, thankless job of making the promises given come into fruition. Which is as important but not nearly as interesting.

Ah well...all things pass in time I guess. I am just glad I was here to watch the event go down in person and not reading about it 50 years later.
I was worried all you guys wouldn't find anything to be pessimistic about post-election but looks like you got it covered.

It should be very easy to find some posts from 2020 re: MAGA is finished, Rs can never win an another election ever, it was fun while it lasted but now it's back to the steady decline, etc. And now here we are in a manic episode. Whatever anybody thinks is going to happen, that's probably not what's going to happen. Whether the future is good or bad, I doubt the Interesting Times are done yet.

Classic meme. So fucking kino, I don’t know why it cracks me up everytime. I think it’s the music combined with the super-deep fried Ron Paul face
If Ron Paul gets to oversee an audit of the fed I will have to go to the hospital for an erection lasting over 6 hours. Ron Paul being involved in any way will make lolbertarians seethe in unimaginable ways.

And then they would say its "Trump admitting to the insurrection!" Using the old "accepting a pardon is an admission of guilt" reasoning and try to block him becoming president.

That's not how any of that works. First off, he can only be blocked for treason which requires a conviction. Even if accepting a pardon -was- an admission of guilt... he has not been tried and convicted.

Second, a pardon is -not- an admission of guilt. Not under any legal context. In fact a -lot- of pardons are on the basis of "We believe them to be wrongly convicted". See, every single J6 pardon coming up.

Three, even if neither of the above two were true, being a felon doesn't prevent someone being a president. This is settled case law, actually.

In short, what you just said is fucking stupid.

I have to say I'm a bit more optimistic this time around. I have an aunt who was from El Salvador and Trump seems to get along with their country's PM Bukele. Here's to hoping the two of them work closely and maybe Trump can invest El Salvador the same way America invested in South Korea in exchange for Trump deporting illegal migrants from El Salvador back. Bukele may not be perfect but I have herd El Salvador is a bit better than many years ago.
