We’ve been basically writing Trump/Biden fanfiction but even if Joe didn’t actively support Trump or Trump pardons Hunter, I do trust Trump that he’ll at the very least have a pleasant conversation with Biden and perhaps become friends. Trump is a businessman and he knows you can’t treat everybody as your sworn enemies, he knows to be charismatic and friendly if needed. And Trump probably has grown a lot as a person after Biden dropped out and he was almost killed in Butler. I think he sees now that he’s fighting the Kraken and Biden is a frail old man.

The phone call Trump had with Biden after his second assassination attempt seems to have already shifted their relationship. Trump sounded very pleased with Biden reaching out to him.

Even with chicks who go for the whole ugly esthetic like she does, you can usually tell that they have good bone structure or potential to not look like a brick. Not here though.

There went her ambitions of living in the White House doing “advocacy” for Guatamalan trannies or whatevs.

I can't tell if it's aging, blue-haired, overly tattooed former-HP-superfan millennials, self-hating zoomers, or ipad kid alphas doing all this seething, but I am once again impressed beyond measure at the scope and scale for which reddit can find things to impotently rage about. Astounding.

I've had a very low opinion on the average zoomer for a while, but maybe there's hope. If we can finally teach them how to torrent things then it might not be so over after all.

I think this happens because men who dedicate their life to serving a greater cause often spend very little time with their children. Every individual hour of their time seems more valuable to spend in work, and over time, their children are raised by a succession of nannies and tutors whose values are instilled instead of those of the parents. The "help" that helps to raise the children always has an undercurrent of resentment toward power, as well, which means the child will be subtly turned against the parent's ideas and values and resist any attempts to instill them.

The impact of wokeism is a bit different from Covid or Iraq. Covid had a horrible effect on many people and damaged many people's faith in each other but the worst of it only lasted a couple years and it was mostly memoryholed by the end of 2022. The Iraq war was was globally devastating but most people in the US and world didn't know many people directly impacted by it. Many troops died or were never the same but for most people it was something they could compartmentalize and quickly forget once Bush left office.

Wokeness brought about a decade-ish long reign of terror that intruded into people's lives in countless ways. It's easier to count things that weren't affected by it than things that were. If someone in the Western world was in public education or corporate employment in the last ten years, if they were involved in any creative subcultures or Internet communities they were probably affected by this odious regime in many different ways. The Marxist revolutionaries from the 60s and 70s were memoryholed but how effective will that be for the 2010s? There were anime dubs that added references to GamerGate. Someone who watches the Jackson LotR movies and wants to check out the Rings of Power will be treated to a Trump rally. The progressive attempts to take over all media will make them difficult to forget and provide ragebait for the right for years to come.
