He was Q all along!

Joe Biden's Presidency has been highlighted by Neo-Liberalism becoming a discredited bygone, the death of celebrity culture, overturning Roe v. Wade, massive 2A wins - even in California, a de-fanged administrative state through reversal of chevron deference, the media being seen by the majority of Americans for the joke it is and now Donald Trump is regarded as having achieved the most incredible comeback in American History (all of it, not just politics); He's become an icon of the American Spirit itself, and the Democratic Party may not recover after having imbibed a seemingly fatal amount of it's own poison. If a significant number of liberal women commit to 4B; it will be another victory with massive inter-generational consequences.

Thank you, Joe!

Late since I have been away for work, but I just wanted to say:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That out of the way, I don't think this presidency is going to be that fruitful. While it does seem like Trump has more spine than the first time, I highly doubt he or his team are willing to go half as far as the "people" they are opposing, and will be far too interested in following "the rules" like retards so they can lose in the long term against enemies. Hopefully I am wrong, but honestly, if Trump and his team doesn't (nonviolently) purge the feds and the military in the first year, he's way too pussy to do anything meaningful that will have a genuine, long term impact. I also think the moment the news runs a sad brown woman carrying a baby, crying about being deported, neo-con simps and brown lovers will immediately lose all spine and demand an amnesty in exchange for immigration "reform" that doesn't meaningfully change anything. While also giving progressives everything they want so that brown people and women aren't told "no" for a change lel. I just find it hard to believe that Americans suddenly rediscovered their collective spines after decades of being actively fucked over for being white Protestants.

That being said, two years of no anti gun legislation will give me a great chance to stock up, so that will be nice.

If these rejects are so affected by who is in the white house that they can't even exist in public without declaring to the world that they were on Kween Kamala's Good Guy Coalition and are just so heartbroken, what purpose is there for them to even fucking exist?
If the de-subscription spiral is anything to go by I think these people will fold right into the new paradigm and act as if though they were never progressive-enthralled liberals. I genuinely believe that over the next few years the realignment politically will be that of libertarians vs conservatives. Especially given Rogan having Dave Smith on as his first guest after the election and sounding more libertarian by the month. Whether the DNC takes up the small government/states rights mantle or leaves it up to the LP is anyone's guess, but the identity politics bullshit has officially been shittered for the indefinite future.

Socialism to varying degrees I think will be treated as libertarian principles in the past century such as free speech have and probably will continue to be treated in the US body politic but through the lens of the citizenry being served by their government, rather than being filled with shit like justifying Pizza Hut being covered by EBT, and whether or not that should exist at all.

I really hope this is the case because frankly we face a massive problem with government spending and really should focus on that instead of this societal-level navel-gazing bullshit about race and muh fuggin gender.

I legitimately cannot believe the vice president elect is quoting motherfucking Cormac McCarthy. I hope he starts quoting Frank Herbert next.

Fastest way to out yourself as a complete fucking midwit who does not read books. Just watch le epic action movie and completely disregard the story.

It's not just an Anton Chigurh quote, it's a Cormac McCarthy quote. The story in No Country for Old Men is about how things have rapidly spiraled out of control, in ways that are nigh impossible for people to keep up with. Chigurh represents McCarthy's conception of the chaos and corruption inherent in the system, as he freely commits crimes, backed by a criminal organization to recover money from a drug deal gone wrong. He shouldn't even be there in the first place, because the drugs should not be there in the country, nor should the criminal organizations. It is the corruption and decay of the country that has allowed this to begin with, which is the point he's making (and the point McCarthy is making to the reader) when he says "If the rule you followed led you to this, of what use was the rule?" to the bounty hunter contracted to kill him and recover the money before Chigurh does. This point is expanded on in the following excerpt in ways that should be obvious to anyone:

I wont talk about the war neither. I was supposed to be a war hero and I lost a whole squad of men. Got decorated for it. They died and I got a medal. I dont even need to know what you think about that. There aint a day I dont remember it. Some boys I know come back they went on to school up at Austin on the GI Bill, they had hard things to say about their people. Some of em did. Called em a bunch of rednecks and all such as that. Didnt like their politics. Two generations in this country is a long time. You're talkin about the early settlers. I used to tell em that havin your wife and children killed and scalped and gutted like fish has a tendency to make some people irritable but they didnt seem to know what I was talkin about. I think the sixties in this country sobered some of em up. I hope it did. I read in the papers here a while back some teachers come across a survey that was sent out back in the thirties to a number of schools around the country. Had this questionnaire about what was the problems with teachin in the schools. And they come across these forms, they'd been filled out and sent in from around the country answer in these questions. And the biggest problems they could name was things like talkin in class and runnin in the hallways. Chewin gum. Copyin homework. Things of that nature. So they got one of them forms that was blank and printed up a bunch of em and sent em back out to the same schools. Forty years later. Well, here come the answers back. Rape, arson, murder. Drugs. Suicide. So I think about that. Because a lot of the time ever when I say anything about how the world is goin to hell in a handbasket people will just sort of smile and tell me I'm gettin old. That it's one of the symptoms. But my feelin about that is that anybody that cant tell the difference between rapin and murderin people and chewin gum has got a whole lot bigger of a problem than what I've got. Forty years is not a long time neither. Maybe the next forty of it will bring some of em out from under the ether. If it aint too late.

Here a year or two back me and Loretta went to a conference in Corpus Christi and I got set next to this woman, she was the wife of somebody or other. And she kept talkin about the right wing this and the right wing that. I aint even sure what she meant by it. The people I know are mostly just common people. Common as dirt, as the sayin goes. I told her that and she looked at me funny. She thought I was sayin somethin bad about em, but of course that's a high compliment in my part of the world. She kept on, kept on. Finally told me, said: I dont like the way this country is headed. I want my granddaughter to be able to have an abortion. And I said well mam I dont think you got any worries about the way the country is headed. The way I see it goin I dont have much doubt but what she'll be able to have an abortion. I'm goin to say that not only will she be able to have an abortion, she'll be able to have you put to sleep. Which pretty much ended the conversation.
I don't think I need to spell out how exactly all of this could be seen as analagous to the system in current day America.

TL;DR elites fucked shit up/let shit get fucked up, blindly strode forward, act shocked when people are unhappy and don't vote for their stooge.
Clearly the rule they followed wasn't of any use (except maybe to themselves, in the short term).

There's going to be a meltdown over Trump every fucking day for the next four years. 2016 doesn't even come close.
Especially now. From my POV the biggest difference to 2016 is that this will be an even more "Trump" Admin than his previous one.
The likes of a Vance, Musk and RFK Jr is basically what hardcore Trumptards dreamed of 8 years ago before he was then forced to bring in neocons and RINOs into the cabinet to hold the GOP together.

I'm honestly more interested in how his right-wing opposition will keep handling this. On the one hand, they can't weasel themselves in as easily anymore - on the other, this Presidency has a way stronger mandate than '16-'20.

The explanation I’ve heard is it will cause prices to skyrocket. Since companies will pass on the price of the tariffs to the consumer.
They cant comprehend getting goods and materials from US based workers. Its why they made up and are spreading the entire "they arent getting bonuses this year" copy pasta is from the concept that a US assembly plant workers arent getting bonuses because the fictitious company is going to panic buy as much components and materials from China before the tarriffs kick in.

They literally cant understand that a US based company would turn to other US based companies to buy what they need if they were fairly priced. American iron and steel? Who's going to mine that, the african-american-transexual-history majors?
An important thing to remember about Leftism and how they view economics, wealth can't be created, according to them, you can only change the size of the pieces of the pie, so to speak. Realistic economics knows you can always just make the pie bigger, but the Left, in a De Facto anyways, doesn't think that's possible. Thus, tariffs must be passed on to Americans, you can't just build new factories, expanding existing productions, etc. Part of me wants to blame it on having their ideology based on Hegelian dialectic, synthesis only allows for existing inputs, not new ones. As the World's Sanist Bulgarian, Landshark, remarked, the Left is always on the wrong side of every issue, no matter what that issue is.

Anyways Gentlekiwis, there's been some rumbling on RW twitter about the GOP thanking everyone for this victory except for White Men, so I just want to thank all of my fellow white men for once again saving the world. They say that you're no one until somebody loves you, that someone is me, I love you. Especially the Trump voting Kiwis behind Blue Lines, you couldn't give us your states' electoral votes, but you gave us the popular vote, they can't even fall back on that now.

So have a classic 80s song and remember that the actual White Man's Burden has always been the rest of the world hating us for dragging them kicking and screaming to civilization. And Indoor Plumbing.

I'm askeered to go public with my ignorance (please no booly), but can you tell us exactly how and where to send the $20 for "True and Honest"? Thank frens.
ETA: I have a check made out, and in an envelope with a stamp! The USPS took all the mailboxes in our neighborhood away, because (I think?) there's a post office within a mile from here. So I'll leave it for our regular letter carrier to pick up tomorrow. I'm all excited now; Halloween merch on the way, and True & Honest bringing up the rear!

The real winner of the election is Joe Biden. He comes out as never losing to Trump. Now Brandon can free the souls of 20,000,000 dead democrat voters.
Maybe they really existed. Maybe they weren't even dead yet, but 20,000,000 devout democrat voters mysteriously died between 2020 and 2024 in a subtle way during covid. It couldn't be of covid, they were so dedicated and loyal and had all their stamps on the booster card.

Maybe they all tragically got some fast spreading cancer or out of the blue heart attacks and strokes?

I have been absolutely bathing on lib salt while out of town, holy shit it's like they can't talk to anyone without bringing up what a "bad week" it's been for them because of the election.

Even at the peak of my Biden hate I never really found myself just talking to random people and feeling the need to bring up Biden's failed policies or anything of the kind. The one exception I recall was after Biden got 13 troops killed, but in general I've not found myself talking to people irl and shoehorning my political philosophy into conversation.

This week I've heard so many assmad leftoids griping over the election, talking about how they don't know how they'll get through the holidays, bemoaning how much they felt compelled to drink to cope with their retard feels. I know we all joke about TDS breaking their brains but I genuinely think these people have been mentally broken down the same way a cult member is - they can't function or operate at all without the framework that has been installed in them, Our Democracy. Everything in their world, from their love life to their work life to their social life to their entertainment life, serves confirmation bias to them and keeps them subservient to the ever turning wheel of Progress. If these rejects are so affected by who is in the white house that they can't even exist in public without declaring to the world that they were on Kween Kamala's Good Guy Coalition and are just so heartbroken, what purpose is there for them to even fucking exist?
I think the 2024 victory has been particularly bad because there is nothing in that framework that ever prepared them for a Trump popular vote win, and that has absolutely shattered their spirit. The very idea of anybody in their minority coalition might actually break rank and majority vote for Trump was beyond unthinkable to them, because they cannot think outside the cult mindset. This is a classic case of drinking their own kool-aid, there was no preparation for anything more than a slim EC victory for Trump, where they could still claim a moral high ground and present themselves as the true vanguards of democracy. The response to 2024 has been far more deranged than 2020 was. Sure, there's not nearly as many very public freakouts, but the stuff being posted online is far more unhinged.
