Fastest way to out yourself as a complete fucking midwit who does not read books. Just watch le epic action movie and completely disregard the story.
TMI but I honestly think McCarthy is the biggest brained literary titan America has produced since fucking Melville. His shit is way too dense and allusive for their little shitlib brains.

Harris under performed so bad in California that Trump flipped Orange county. I expect him to carry those CA seats.

It will be greatly dependant on how the tariffs shake out, IMO. Because if Trump actually does everything he promises to WRT tariffs… it’s going to DESTROY the American consoomer.

Now, I personally think that’s a band-aid that must be ripped off if America is to have any chance at recovering its domestic economy and ending its reliance on de facto slave labor, but I don’t think the average American is ready for a massive price spike on non-essential goods. Unless the tariffs can show immediate gains within 4 years (which they probably won’t, the whole point of them is that you’re sacrificing short-term consoomerism for long-term economic independence and stability) the price increases WILL be blamed on Trump, and it WILL affect Vance’s run in 2028.
I would prefer if instead of tarrifs across the board he just does it on China and India or other countries economically fucking us over, not on everyone.

I am like ninety percent sure he's already said he plans to have tariffs be harsher on nations that artificially lower their prices most likely nations who aren't try to fuck us will sign some concessions and move on largely unchanged

I mean, they're right....

Which is why women voted for Trump, to secure their 2nd Amendment Rights so they they can fight, fight, fight! God made men, but Samuel Colt made them equal, and by His grace may Trump abolish the ATF!
With Vance as Trump's Vp, a ex Marine Corporal that owns a lot of guns and 99% played halo in Iraq on a old CRT, that is actually a possibility, the ATF abolishmement

20% of the electorate voted Labour. It's tyranny from a minority. Never give up your guns.

For decades every election the majority has voted for less immigration, it's just been ignored. Now we're stuck in a situation with no means to resist.

I wish we had a Primaries system like in the USA where anybody can run for the leader of a party prior to the General Election. There's pretty much no way we can get our own "Trump" without it. We're stuck in a 2 party system. Reform did insanely well. Better than any 4th party in history. (As technically we're a 3 party system, with the Liberal Democrats as the 3rd "big" party, even though Reform got more actual votes than them, but didn't manage to get more MPs.) Yet they still only got 5 MPs (or 6 if you include their alliance with TUV in Northern Ireland as Reform did that rather than just have separate candidates in Northern Ireland) and just split the right-wing vote with the Conservatives, allowing Labour to win by default despite getting LESS votes than in the last General Election!

What are we going to do to deprogram these people?
I had an argument with someone i love very much and had to tell him in pretty damning and angry terms that I am done hearing these deluded, untrue takes, that they fucking affect me, and that they're simply not true. He claims that he doesn't listen to the media and listens to a bunch of other sources, but where does he get the information from that just happens to be copy pasted from the media talking heads? How do you get through to people? I don't want to be just as bad as the liberals but I honestly feel emotionally harmed from all the fucking
gaslighting over the past 8+ years. I cannot take anymore hearing the deluded view on reality. Maybe I'm taking this shit too seriously but it's been so rough.
To me its not worth ever talking about politics IRL. 99.9% of people are not interested in a legit conversation where they might change their views, its always about optics and fitting into what they perceive the masses consider the "correct opinion". Goes triple for work environment. People have so many premade assumptions about an individual if they find you have one viewpoint off from theirs and label you accordingly. Its really sad. Its all based on shallow observations and based off nothing.

Not worth the risk either. Your political views 100% can impact job opportunities or even your standing at your job. They will find some BS excuse to get rid of you or not give you that promotion. Its not worth it to talk about politics or try to influence anyone publicly unless you have "fuck you money" as they say, like the Dilbert guy.

I am coming to realize as I age how many people are so easily fooled, deluded into false views of the world. I thought it was just terminally online people and celebs but I'm seeing it more and more with people I know IRL. Its so deeply rooted in them, complete falsehoods. People of all intelligences and roles in society. Like I mentioned before I know people who genuinely think Kamala didn't win because most of America is deeply misogynistic.

Its so critically important to see the world for what it actually is, to not idolize anyone, and to be fluid and self aware with your opinions, and how informed your opinions are. Its why truth and no censorship is so important to me. Its why I love this website. Problems cannot be solved if they can't accurately be identified. You need to learn the right lessons from mistakes and that can't even start if you have a deluded false view of the world and your fellow man.

I think the only answer to convert people from their deeply rooted false views is for it to start impacting their day to day negatively. I think as I said before that was the primary reason Trump won. Economic issues with inflation, home availability, and all these foreign wars we're sending money to and effecting global logistics just got to a tipping point. So there is hope sanity eventually wins, but it seems like it takes the masses 10-15 years for these things to really push change with people. People take for granted the people and systems we have in place that eases the burden of life. Its only when its gone or degrades that people start to wake up a little bit at least. Its one of those hard truths where no combination or words or intent will convince these people otherwise...
