I think there's too much evidence of fraud for it not to have happened but the main question is how much. I actually expect it didn't take too much. A couple key districts in key states.

I know you kinda covered it immediately afterwards, but it's absolutely not the same. There's a significant amount of people who would turn out to vote in favor of abortion, there is not a significant amount of people who would do so in favor of trooning children. If it's allowed to become normalized, where we have kids who grew up with it being a fact of life, it's going to end up as something that we cede ground on. There's already ample evidence of why childhood transitions are a disaster. Europe is backing off from them entirely, if this ends up like abortion where Europeans scoff at how transphobic the US is all the while the US is allowing toddlers to get in HRT, I'm going to lose it. It needs to be nipped in the bud now, because we've already gone way too far with it if the majority rule compromise is banning it for children.

There is no benefit to transitioning children. Only negatives. There's no benefit to HRT in general from a psychiatric perspective. In terms of treating gender dysphoria, it has been a complete fucking failure. There is 0 reason why ANYONE should be receiving HRT, adult or child. There is 0 medical science backing it up. It doesn't provide pleasure like alcohol or recreational drugs. It doesn't provide mental pleasure, if anything it causes long term mental damage. It's not going to be a long term talking point for leftists. The moment the actual science comes out that the Church of Science kept hidden, they're going to drop the topic and all claim they never supported it. The only reason HRT is even given at all is because the Church of Science hasn't disavowed it yet.

It is not an extreme measure to ban HRT. Every other country on the planet has slowly moved towards banning it outright or at least has banned it in children. The US is currently the only country that still permits this insanity. The government has a duty to ban HRT fucking outright. At minimum, banned for children and placed heavily restrictions for adults and flat out barring it from being used to treat gender dysphoria.

Nobody here is arguing it shouldn't be banned or that there's any benefit, only who should be doing the banning: state or federal.
I'm not sure why that's hard to understand, and why you wouldn't understand why it matters who does it. Power should be given to the federal government only with careful consideration of the ramifications.

I think (after going back and forth in my head a bit) that trooning children is so unpopular, so unlikely to motivate people, so clearly a bad idea, and has so much evidence against it - with such a huge risk of irreversible harm - I'm comfortable handing it to the federal government.

I can't see anybody campaigning on overturning it (and getting much support) as it's a toxic issue and doing so would only make the public go "wait you're doing what to children?"

The only people I know who are pro-child troon are children who want to troon due to sex abuse or awkward puberty or agp or troons themselves. Or some college loony progressive blue hair women but not very many. I think a lot are not aware medical transition is happening to children (or just deny it if they do know).

Democrats seem to have regained their hold on CA-47 (<+1), AZ-6 is still holding on, AZ-1 is extending the lead, but CA-27 isn't looking good (<1000 votes, but in 2020 it was a close election with <1000 votes and that was with maximum fuckery). They still have to flip more votes (OR-5 was already running behind).

IO-1 is likely to get a recount. OH-9 (Democrat incumbent) is going to the runoffs at this rate. Kaptur (D) leads by 1,000 votes but Tom Pruss (Libertarian) has split the vote so she still has 48.1%.
