You can't get a Federal Pell Grant or other federal grants if you already have a bachelor's degree, which basically means if you want to move to a different industry you're fucked. Even if you've never taken benefits before, even if you took CLEP and DSST tests to get those credits, you are fucked. They'd rather give benefits to illiterate illegals who don't give a single fuck than those who've already proven themselves. If colleges actually had to compete, instead of getting cash from alumni and the government, they wouldn't be crushing their own customers like that.
