Newsom is the current contender for 2028. Problem is he will have been out of the public spot light for years at that point, and only remembered for making California more of a shithole then it was when he took office. He'll also be a white man in a party that hates whites and men. His presumptive opponent will be JD Vance, who is younger, more likable, and will becoming off 4 years of aiding Trump in making America great again. And this is excluding the demographic changes from deportation, tightening up of election security and four years of further msm abandonment by average Americans. Things are looking grim for the DNC.

I kept hearing Whitmer when the great "who the fuck do replace Biden with" debate was going on, I guess the question is how hard the COVID stuff would stick.

Surely there has to be someone in their ranks who isn't a lolcow (AOC) or a literal cog for a machine (Harris, Newsom, Pritzker), though I guess the question is will the people currently in charge of the party let those people, should they exist, rise...
