Not necessarily. It's a legal process just like everything else. What is interesting is that they're not providing a bond until Tuesday. Getting a bond set is a very basic and quick process, even during the holidays. If they're waiting, that means that there's something else that they want to processes or look into first before allowing Nino to walk free.
But there will be court, and obligations they will need to follow through with. And we all know how things like that are treated with people like Greta.

Yeah, I'm wondering if, from the wording, Nina is ABLE to be bonded out now, but Greta doesn't have the cash on hand until after the holiday / banks re-open? Which is why she said the bond is set, but unpaid?
I'm not a legal eagle though, and Greta is a liar, so who the fuck knows.

Yes, something is up. They might think proving she's not a flight risk is no biggie and going before a judge is a formality that's nothing to worry about. If she actually had bail set and GRANTED she'd be walking out of there today.
I also learned that you can actually be bailed out before a CF interview, it's quite rare but it is possible. The massive overcrowding in these centers works in Nina's favor. My friend told me something interesting that I don't want to make public, but lets just say if she's bailed out it might be a case of ICE giving her rope to hang herself. Given the evidence TLL has provided about Nina ICE actually has everything they could need to deport her. (Problem is your average ICE official isn't keeping up with this shit like we are, and them discovering all the public admissions of working the past two years could take them awhile to uncover - they have HUGE case loads.)

If the bond was set. They would have paid it. Paying a set bond is a highly oiled money making industry that operates 24/7. What Greta probably doesn't understand is the HEARING to set a bond is Tuesday or something.

So, I did a little research, and as it turns out, the border checkpoints are all covered by "routes to avoid" on both Google Maps and Mapquest. More than that, there is a very specific corridor the checkpoints are located at. Spot the irregularity, if you can.

I've never heard of a court or federal administrative agency being open on Saturday for the convenience of having a bail hearing. So it is unlikely there was a hearing this morning. Even if ICE or some random Immigration ALJ was holding bail hearings this morning, bail bondsmen are open 24/7/365. If Greta, et al, have the resources to back up a bond, they could get a bond right now and get el Niño out of the joint.

Christ, this checkpoint is like 15 city blocks away from the Mexico boarder. Did they pull off the road and have their little sunset tranny picnic in Mexico? Anyway, it was lunacy to travel so close to the boarder when you're a brown person without legal status.
