I love how these libtarded faggots keep defaulting to P2025 as if that is supposed to be the manifesto of Trump or the GOP, no, despite what you might hear, Trump is not gonna establish a fuckin Christian Theocratic Dictatorship like it's western Iran.

Let's actually discuss the real policies that will affect you and I, putting tariffs on all imports into the country is a big point for him, I'm genuinely concerned about that, like it or not, but globalization has made basically every single economy (barring the outliers like the Norks and Iran) dependent on importing something from another place, but if tariffs get imposed, that means those goods get scarcer (i.e: more expensive),

Here's a very good question: How will his administration exactly keep prices from shooting up if they decide to go through with this?
Good answers, but what about in the short-medium term?, how manufacturing shifted away from domestic to overseas wasn't done so quickly, it was a decades long process from the mid to late 20th century, bring all of that back can't be done in 4 years, we just have to hope Trump's ideology of protectionism and self-sufficiency will hopefully stay alive for longer than his term would allow him, assuming 2028 doesn't go back to the democrats to reverse all of that.
To give you a serious answer, short term a lot of price fluctuations will be kept mostly in check by focusing on domestic energy production. We actually produce locally more oil than we need, by keeping it in our borders instead of selling it we can massively drive down consumer costs of local goods. Most importantly, of food. While a few food items will increase due to no local production most core costs like eggs, milk, bread, and meat will see a net reduction. After 4 years of Biden people will be willing to accept more expensive commercial goods if their food and gas bills go down.

Though to answer your question directly, a lot of those prices -will- just go up. Commercial goods -will- get more expensive. Until domestic production catches up they will just be more costly.

There is no way around that, and thus your concern is misdirected. its not a question of compensating for the rise of costs, its about making it worthwhile by reducing costs in other areas.

I've been following the BBCs coverage of the election because they are being surprisingly even-handed and they had an entire article pointing out that the organisation that came up with Project 2025 has been around since the Reagan administration and they have had as many ideas rejected by the Republicans as they have managed to get implemented.

It's just a right-leaning think-tank, not a shadowy cabal that is going to turn the US into a dictatorship.

My conclusion is not only is she fucking batshit insane, she genuinely thinks she knows better than the people what's best for them and their own country.

She does not see herself as a servant of the people. She sees herself as the arbiter, the judge, the patron saint of the holy cause. She expects people to sacrifice themselves upon the alter of her religion.
Ah yes, the Kennedy doctrine.

PJ O'Rourke detailed this in one of his essays: JFK ushered in the era of truly elephantine governmental programs, on the grounds that the elite few were best suited to decide what's best for the masses, and to impose it on them by force. All modern Democrats and "progressives" are proponents of this doctrine.

So delusional, dishonest, or insane?
My initial impression of pelosi: All 3.

Please someone correct me if this blind take is innacurate. Listening to that interview made me actually viscerally angry.

Calling Nancy Pelosi "insane" or "delusional" is letting the bitch off the hook. She's a cold-blooded psychopath and a bald-faced liar. She believes the masses are stupid idiots who should be forced to do as they're told by the Democratic elites.

Bernie and Pelosi catfight.

Yeah, Pelosi ain't leaving.

Wow, two people that I hate with every fiber of my being are fighting. Good.

Bernie Sanders is only sour grapes about the Democrat party right now because he didn't get a chance to run another campaign to buy another vacation home. Let's be real. He doesn't give a flying fuck about the working class, or else he would have called the DNC's bullshit 3-4 years ago.

He will bitch and moan, and then shill for the establishment until the end of time. Rinse and repeat.

Even if Trump really wanted to do everything listed on Project 2025, how exactly would it work? For example, they think Trump is going to order everyone who isn't a straight white "cis" male into camps. Do they seriously believe the majority of the military is going to go around and round up people nazi style and just go with it? I'm not going to lie but I don't believe that even the biggest white nationalist would want to go around and kill a bunch of people. These guys truly believe that the majority of people who support Trump just wants to kill everyone that isn't a straight white male and force white women to have white children and this some how wont lead to a civil war.
"No illegal immigrants" = "gas a good percentage of the USA's working class because they're not [insert "privileged" group of the hour]"?

Very few people in my IRL friend group understood that Trump is a moderate.

Looks like the flailing is starting to circle around an approved narrative.

The Book That Predicted the 2024 Election - The Ezra Klein Show

Seems like they're going with the "Trump voters are uneducated" cope, yet again. Because they didn't learn anything from 2004.

Expect a lot of push for compulsory education, and social media being forced to push "educational and informational" content in the same way airwave networks were way back when they were created.
Actually, this is probably the smartest analysis of their loss so far, based on your description. Maybe in the video they focus heavily on pushing the whole "uneducated = unintelligent" angle, but taking a look at historic shifts in 2020 should have been a massive forecast to Democrats about how this election was going to go. The real fluke with regard to COVID lockdown policies was actually working to Trump's detriment, because his campaign failed to place that blame on state policies.
Had Democrats not ignored the signals from the counties that flipped due to the Latino vote in 2020, it's very possible that this election would have been far more competitive. Instead, they opened up the border and allowed the issue to spread far wider than just southern Texas.

>open border to allow millions of browns into the country (since statistically brown people always vote for you)
>they vote for your opponent after a few months of putting up with you

Remember, Bernie's an independent. Trump had been Republican since 2012, so as much as an "outsider" as he was, he wasn't trying to co-opt them. Bernie had lead in the polls briefly but then Super Tuesday came around and washed him out.

Plus, and I don't know if this was media manipulation, but they framed Biden's supporters as "normal" people compared to the psychotic Bernie supporters.

Because it is their version of the rights globohomo plan hysteria. But cringe and gay like how they steal right wing memes and make them gay and cringe. Containing leaps of logic and stupid premises about banning porn and handmaids tale.

Bernie is psychotic, and his supporters are pathetic losers. Biden is a terrible human being as well, but he has a manufactured palatable image for normies.

Bernie Sanders is a fraud. A scammer. A total phoney. Only delusional and gullible losers still rally behind him at this point.

Should be. Alaska has ranked voting too so he needs to hit 50 to avoid them going to second choices. John Howe in 3rd is with the Alaska Independence Party which should have the Republican as the second choice on enough ballots to get him to 50, assuming the remaining 24 percent doesn't swing hard the other way. I read a lot of the remaining vote is in the isolated indigenous communities, which go Democrat, so it might swing,

That doesn't sound good. Between so many of the remaining seats in Arizona and California I suspect that it will be a squeaker (218 either way), and it had better not rely on some runoff in Ohio or Colorado.
