That won't stop them from trying. Especially since a lot of the Evangelicals who supported Trump are talking about criminalizing porn. Look, most porn we see in the web is disgusting, and I myself won't skip a beat if it went away, but we as a society need a place for the degenerates to hang their hats. Criminalizing porn is like putting your fist through a beehive; it's going to cause more problems than solutions.

I can imagine that once Trump encounters sufficient pushback, he's going to try and compromise. I can just imagine how angry Razor would be, or if he would try to defend it and run defense for Trump compromising with the Swamp.

I'm inclined to agree, but Trump's evangelical allies are stubborn and insistent; they made this a talking point before and during the election, and they wish to push for it. This isn't the first time they did something that blew up in their face; the Satanic Panic of the 80s is one such episode. If Trump doesn't try to criminalize porn, he's going to bleed support from these very entrenched religious groups, many of whom are some of his strongest and most devoted supporters.

I guarantee you if you had to prove that you're 18 to use these websites so traffic would go down by 70% it's not that even liquor stores keep a record who buys products it just references a federal state database it's just that people don't know that and people will assume that they're keeping a record of something

That won't work. Most people who watch porn want to remain anonymous. They'll probably set up an alternate site not monitored by the government and go there. Or have a black market for it.

If you have to put one more hoop in front of someone that's going to deter a lot of people you know why they put fences around certain areas where valuable things are stored because it deters a group of people every layer you put in front of something in order to access it is another layer that someone has to get through and requires more effort therefore less people will do it

I mean, I can always launch a tirade about how Razorfist hating JRPGs and weebs shows how narrow-minded he is, or how his intense hatred of casual RPGs and by-the-numbers FPS games after he praised the "westernization of gaming" is the height of ignorance and hypocrisy, but I think I've done that over a dozen times by now.
