I’m pretty sure BPD. I believe that Dave has even admitted it. Take a look at his therapist’s about me on the last page and it makes sense.

Dave's affliction is hard to categorize. As @Tragi-Chan noted a few days ago, Dave tells these stories that to any outside observer would sound like standard bugfuck schizo delusions--I was held prisoner in a concrete room for 3 days completely naked! My brother has weaponized the Columbia PD against me! My mobster father has sent armed goons to kidnap me!--and yet those of us who keep up with him know that there is actually a tiny, tiny germ of truth at the root of most of these stories. It's just that he embellishes everything so wildly and so unbelievably that it's hard to tell whether he's doing it on purpose or if his nutbar brain actually believes his version of events on some level.

a question that's come up a few times is his relationship to drugs. for example he's covered in sores but he claims those are from some disorder that makes him pick at his own face.

i am not a brain disorder knower BUT is there such a thing as a narcissist who's also depressed? because he seems both exactly like all the "narc" stuff he accuses his parents of AND like a slovenly middle-aged man who's given up on himself i.e. no personal grooming.
