Even in 2016 I never really hated Rubio, he was an obstacle for Trump so I him defeated and he was establishment but he never really acted in a way for me to hate him. He might be an opportunist, but he is smart enough to see at this point that it would only serve his interests to stick it out with the MAGA movement I think. Looking back at the debates he actually made good points.

I think he was actually one of the best candidates in the 2016 debates ... Granted, he never stood a chance with a bull like Trump (nobody did), but I found that he would bring up so many better points up than other prominent republicans that year.

To this day, his comments about illegal immigration/the border and abortion still stand out for me.

Funny enough, according to various rumors and at least one girl's bragging (although this must be taken with a boulder of salt and Trump himself has said he's never known the future American Augustus to have a girlfriend), Barron already seems to be proactively gathering a harem. So far he seems to have so far checked off the childhood friend (who does at least seem to have photos to prove that she knew Barron as a kid), the exotic model who's a bit older than he is and of course, he's already got to have a princess - namely the daughter of the Emperor of Japan - in his sights per his dad's deal with the ghost of Abe.
