I'll be honest, so far it's looking like it'll be a repeat of the 1st term with the nominees mentioned, with both establishment and MAGA pols getting nominations. It'll be interesting to see how long this unity will last.
I genuinely don't understand how you can look at his expected list of appointments and say that it will be a repeat of the 1st term.

they are never going to have a national platform. Chase Oliver supported open borders and mass immigration.

It doesn't help that you had their top candidates embarrassing themselves by not knowing what Aleppo even was (a city in Syria, but an important news topic at the time).

I think as far as principle goes there's a lot of issues you can just kick back to state and local elections, Trump did the Republicans a huge favor by not pressing the abortion issue.

His domestic appointments have been surprisingly good and I am very hopeful that it will be far better than the first term, especially with him apparently being open to hiring Project 2025 people.

But his foreign policy-related appointments have been quite bad, unfortunately. And poaching representatives with such a slim majority for appointments is probably not the best move.

It's changed over the course of the week, even the course of election night.

>hahaha Trump is gonna lose
>hahaha dont get cocky the 2am ballot dumps are incoming
>hahaha you retards realize Kamala can just chose not to certify the election, right?
>hahaha you're celebrating Trump winning meanwhile they are stealing the house seats
>oh wow they swept the presidency, house and senate but goatfuckers are still gonna get bombed by j00s HAHAHAHA I TOLD YOU SO NO REFUNDS!!!!

Fatpacks goalposts have been constantly moving
And the faggot still needs to do a fucking flip.

Speaking of whiney little bitches who are hypocritical shits.....

Michael Moore, who's been talking so much shit about Trump and how abortion was going to be the defining issue of the campaign and even uploaded his anti-Trump film onto his YT channel about a week before the election, took the super coward way out in having to eat crow by having his weekly podcast (his central method of communicating with the masses these days) be nothing but showtunes rather than having to record a show where he has to face the fact that he was 100% wrong and then some.

This pisses me off, because it's utter cowardice as even asshats like John Oliver (who's post-election screed included him screeching that voters are beyond salvation retarded because "they got upset over rising food prices instead of being good little slaves, paying the mark up prices, and keeping silent because they are too dumb to know that they shouldn't raise their voices to their betters over the issue of inflation") talked about the loss. Moore couldn't even do that.....

His pick for National Security Advisor is Mike Waltz, who is quite literally a goddamn Neocon.

Not the same as being a "repeat of his 1st term". Even Mike Waltz is a departure from the likes of John Bolton. Waltz is hawkish towards China and Iran, but is much more in line with Trump's policy concerning Ukraine and NATO. There are establishment types within his administration, but his cabinet does differ from 2016. There's a lot to be hopeful for when it comes to domestic issues,. That being said, several of his appointments (Waltz included) are worrisome.

The LP doesn't reward pragmatism, competence, or political acumen. It rewards moralizing and self-righteousness. Even Dave Smith, who I am ambivalent towards, totally fails when it comes to transforming their party platform into a workable political program. Rand Paul has done more to advance the basic policy objectives of the LP than anyone within the LP. Most of the policy proposals that have any chance of reaching a national platform are already represented within the Republican party. Those that don't, and which are unpopular, such as cutting social security, are not going to be implemented through electoral politics, period.

Kamala trying to get recounts is undermining our republic. Trump is a true mensch who won't launch legal warfare that would tank a gop nominees campaign unlike some people.
i remember in 2016 there was a push to get recounts that was immediately halted when the recounts were benefiting Republicans.
