Again, if this is a bit, Aaron would have to be in on it. Over the last few months, I can recall a few times mods have complained about it. Each time Aaron told them he didn’t know how they got de-modded because it wasn’t him.

Aaron has sufficient reason to believe it's true and report it. Law enforcement has sufficient reason to investigate and they're not going to be impressed if they're told "nothing to see here, we were just trolling". Melton should expect to hear from law enforcement and also expect that claiming it was a joke won't be sufficient to get rid of them.

If it's fake, it's a very stupid kind of fake and has dragged even more people into the Rekieta black hole.
