"You didn't do any research" - Neither did any of the medical institutions that do this shit. The ones that are finally getting around to it find there's no benefit.
"You baselessly assumed you were trans" - Implies there is a "base" that is knowable and measurable, rather than just magical genderfeels. These people want it to be as easy as possible to mutilate yourself and if you're happy with the results it proves you're trans even as your body fails; if you realise it was a mistake you were never trans in the first place.
This sentiment is nothing new and I realise there's a sunk cost for anyone who's vocally supported this (especially for those who have done it themselves or enabled someone they know, as described by Helen Joyce) but these cunts still enrage me.

Those are some of the photos from my Commitment Ceremony with my partner in August of this year. We have been together for 3 years, I came out in March of this year. I was fortunate enough to have a partner who is bisexual, and she also happens to be one of the most amazing, genuinely loving people in the world. We were already planning our commitment ceremony before my subconscious egg broke (I had even been hiding it from myself until it broke all over the place, lol). After I came out to her, we processed a lot and then came out of that feeling even more excited to go from having a straight ceremony to a lesbian ceremony! One of the most beautiful days of my life, surrounded by queer-loving people who immediately celebrated my transformation.
If only I could say the same about all of my siblings and parents and dozens of extended relatives. My trans identity has been rejected by every single one of them, while they throw parties about the election results.
I have literally found my own new family. Building loving community and uniting, I now realize, is one of the single most important things in the entire world that we can do and need to do to survive this phase of our world.

Not all straight sex creates life, but gay sex never will; they are very clearly not the same.

I somewhat disagree. "Straight" at least has a functional meaning beyond not-gay. You want to bang the opposite sex.
Trannies who know how to act in public will tell you "cis" just means "not trans", when really by their definition it means "someone who identifies with their gender assigned at birth". If you reject the entire notion of innate gender, this is utterly meaningless. An analogy I liked is Christians that assume anyone who doesn't agree with them is a Satanist - no, I just don't believe in the fundamental principle of a god.

"Straight" came from earlier jazz and beatnik slang; that guy who works in an office and doesn't smoke pot is a straight, says the dude with bongos (who also fucks women). Think about "going straight" or "play it straight" for getting out of the criminal underworld. Someone mainstream who isn't in your niche subculture, with the implication that your niche subculture is for cool people who know things.
Straight for "not gay" dates to pre-WWII, but it still overlapped with the previous definition because that's what it came from: gay people in hidden society were another hidden semi-legal subculture. So people not in that subculture were straight, the same as non-beatniks were straight. It's just that there are a lot more homosexuals than beatniks and jazz musicians these days. so they've won the rights for "straight" meaning "not-them."
The modern equivalent might be, alas, "normie."
Recall a scene in the disappointing sequel Ghostbusters II, where Bill Murray tries to get his friends to shut up about psychoactive slime rivers in the middle of the nice restaurant they burst into. "Boys, you're scaring the straights, okay? Is there any way we can do this tomorrow?" He's not saying that they're all homos; he's using dated slang for comedic effect while asking them to tone down the in-group weirdness around normal people.
It does foretell the current situation, where young people want to be part of the cool and with-it subculture, and currently that means you have to be "queer," so they play the definition game.
