Really obnoxious and unlikeable people get acquitted all the time (ex. Casey Anthony, George Zimmerman, R. Kelly in 2008 ), no matter how awful they come off as. Character attacks usually fall flat in the face of legal arguments

Juries are told to be as objective as possible, to focus only on the evidence. That is why mistrials aren't very common (and jury nullification even rare). Jurors surprisingly take their duties very serious. You also have to consider that the defense and prosecution have a say in who gets to be in a jury - if this went to trial, I doubt Nick's lawyers would be OK with having a Planned Parenthood volunteer in the jury, they usually do a good job at vetting potential jurors for conflicts of interest or areas that would make them impartial jurors
