My guess is that part of the reason for the apparent change in demeanor between Trump and Biden is Trump has offered assurance to Biden that he will pardon Hunter as a "big man" gesture and get optics from that while Joe gets to avoid closing out with such a blatant act of corruption.

It's nice seeing the rats scrambling while Joe floats away in one of the only lifeboats. I think Biden is tired of the puppetmasters hands up his ass and is just shitposting irl now, and he and Trump have probably come to terms since Trump has no reason to go after a broken man betrayed by his own side.

Man was Scott pissed when he saw the final cut. He never forgave Kubrick and even snubbed the priemer. He died thinking Kubrick made a fool out of him. Rather a shame as it's one of the roles Scott is best remembered for. Life really is cruel sometimes.

I think what happened is that George C. Scott simply did not like Stanley Kubrick as a director and did not like the campy ways Kubrick made him act. Also, yeah, some of the scenes he thought were rehearsals ended up in the final cut. Scott was pissed but, when he got older, he let it go. Kubrick was a pretty tough guy to work for. Even Matt Modine, who speaks fondly of Kubrick, said he was a hardass.

There are also stories that Scott himself told about Kubrick removing scenes from Strangelove (specifically the pie fight) because Eric Rattray directed them, not him, so he probably thought Kubrick was a douche.

Ironically the one episode of Arthur I remember well is the one where the little sister is just making shit up and incredulous retards believed her. Takeaway lesson there being "don't just believe things people tell you because it sounds good."

Trump is going to threaten the forced recess option on the Congress, which I believe has never been done.

I don't think any of the old guard in Congress wants to see this option exercised with Trump gloating about it for the remainder of his term as POTUS. They're going to hold confirmation hearings. Unless Susan Collins can nail down 3 hard NO's, it's done.

Prepare for the conga line of women making rape claims against Matt Gaetz. That's coming.

what's wrong with that? Biden helped fuck over the DNC and they're now on good terms. Trump has shown to be the bigger man, even offering to pay Kamala's debt. I think he should go for it.
