what's wrong with that? Biden helped fuck over the DNC and they're now on good terms. Trump has shown to be the bigger man, even offering to pay Kamala's debt. I think he should go for it.
People need to remember trump is thinking art of the deal when he makes these moves. It is far more beneficial to get someone like Biden on his team than he is needlessly alienating him when there’s not much else to get out of it

Buck Sexton (one of the guys who inherited Rush Limbaugh's time slot) is already demanding Trump pardon Hunter to show Republicans will be pussies and kowtow to the Dems like they always do when they get power.
People want Trump to pardon Hunter because it would be a massive blow to the legitimacy of red flag laws. Simple as.

Trump is going to threaten the forced recess option on the Congress, which I believe has never been done.

I don't think any of the old guard in Congress wants to see this option exercised with Trump gloating about it for the remainder of his term as POTUS. They're going to hold confirmation hearings. Unless Susan Collins can nail down 3 hard NO's, it's done.

Prepare for the conga line of women making rape claims against Matt Gaetz. That's coming.
Trump wants them appointed fast. If it turns into a circus he’s going to do recess appointments even if the 50 votes are there. The whole point is that it doesn’t take months to get the cabinet he wants.

Are you kidding? I know Buck Sexton sucks, but is he really saying Trump should pardon Hunter Biden?
He's been saying it all week. He thinks it will show how magnanimous Trump is and will show the Republicans have no ill will toward the other team and are going to govern justly.

edit: to be fair, he also said something about it taking the heat off Trump for pardoning the Jan 6th people, but it's clearly a secondary concern for him.

He's going to do it either way for the power play. Its called asserting dominance. The senate needs a dicking with their new majority leader, just so they realize who's yanking the chains in this relationship.

They'll just have some intern leak it and give the intern a book deal.

Eh... I just don't like Buck Sexton. I was never a fan of Rush, either, if I'm being honest.

I honestly don't know why Biden won't just pardon him himself. What the fuck's anyone going to do besides eat shit and cry? If anything, the press can spin it as "Loving Father Protects Son from Spiteful Dictator."

Muh legacy and optics. Biden pardoning hunter would be a bad thing to leave on I think. Trump doing it benefits everyone involved

Whats next Joe roagn as secretary of defense?

Joe should be Minister of the Gorilla Channel.

Vance is the president of the Senate and interprets the Senate’s own rules. He can work around this.

If it were that easy, wouldn't some President have done this before? It's not as though the VP would have a reason not to go a long with it.

I'd absolute love it if Trump made a deal to pardon Hunter, but Biden pardons all of the J6 defendants. If Joe's in the mood to make the Democrats seethe even more, I can't think of too many things that would do so more than this. Biden doing it would cause a lot of waves, but it's probably good for his longterm legacy and it even lets him steal some thunder from Trump by doing something he was going to do anyway.
