i think it was "hate white man from florida cause of republican" that we were supossed to hate him. but consider "
Gaetz has introduced legislation to reclassify cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act.[115][116] He has also introduced legislation to loosen federal restrictions on the cultivation of cannabis for research purposes.[117][118] Gaetz has criticized the federal government for having "lied to the American people for a generation" about the medical benefits of cannabis.[119] As a member of the Florida House, he sponsored a bill, eventually signed into law,[120] to expand the state's Right to Try Act to include the medical use of cannabis.[121][122] In September 2017, Gaetz keynoted the American Medical Marijuana Physicians Association's annual conference.[123]

In November 2019, Gaetz was one of only two Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee to vote for the Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement (MORE) Act, which among other reforms sought to remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act.[124] He was also the only Republican cosponsor of the bill (of 55 cosponsors) at the time of its passage.[125] Gaetz has introduced the STATES Act to prevent federal interference in states that have legalized cannabis for medical or recreational purposes.[126] Gaetz has said he has had multiple conversations with President Trump about cannabis policy.[127]

Gaetz has repeatedly supported anti-cannabis candidates in obtaining more power through the open speaker position.[128][129][130]

Where have you been these past few years, the filibuster hasn't been an option for confirmations for a while now.

I know the dems nuked it for lower court nominees and then the GOP returned the favor for SCOTUS, but I thought it was still in place for other nominees? Is it completey gone?

Edit; Just looked it up and it appears you are right, it doesn't exist anymore for cabinet nominees. Definitely helps things, but I still think with 2 No on record already the uniparty rats will be able to find 2 more.

Cabinet nominees and judges just need a simply majority. Other then that the filibuster can still be used for other types of legislation and the Republicans plan to keep it around even while Trump is in office.

If you're going to nominate me for anything, nominate me for FCC or NTIA.
If clown world went full clown and you were actually considered for the position, what would be your policy position/goal for the FCC, and how would you defend yourself from the literal foots long document of instances you have said "Nigger" in?

I know that Trump was close with Abe but what is the general attitude towards Trump in Japan?
I think there is at least some favorable attitudes, and I doubt TDS is really a thing there.

their western owned media companies don't [like Trump]
Looks like they want Japan to go "woke", but I think ポリコレ* still isn't too popular there.

* (porikore, "political correctness", "woke")

Japs generally like Trump, their western owned media companies don't.
Most Japanese media is owned by Japanese companies, but it’s true that Japanese media runs more left than the general populace, with Fuji TV being more conservative and Asahi being more liberal with the other major networks being somewhere in between.

1. NN but for real and not whatever Obama thought it was
2. I can commit to the American people that I will suspend my n word privileges for four years

Let me state for the record how it is a criminal act how New Mexico's congressional districts were drawn to cancel out the voters of the Navajo Nation that live in New Mexico off-reservation.

To make sure they can't ever outvote the aging (and rapidly dying) white libs in Santa Fe, it swoops around to grab Roswell.

And then to make sure the state never attracts Republicans, they use eco-NIMBYism to keep out any employment that would risk making the state politically competitive.

The Feds own a lot of New Mexico. Trump could fix this problem. Allow the Indian nations free reign to resume mining operations, and allow fracking on reservation. Those lands are sovereign. That means shitlibs in Santa Fe should have no right to say what these people can and can't do with their lands. What's the point of sovereignty if you have none.
