i unironically think society would be greatly improved if piers morgan, the view, and everybody involved in the production of those shows and anything like it were publically executed to deter that behavior in the future. doing that would probably lower the blood pressure of the english speaking world a measurable quantity and noticably improve the quality of discourse

Can confirm. Got talked into a new roof by a fly by night door to door roofing company years ago. A couple of random Mexicans in a beat up old unmarked pickup showed up to do the work. A few years later several shingles blew off. The company(registered to a UPS store po box) ceased to exist by then. I ended up using a husband and wife company that grew up in the area to properly fix it. Both showed up in newer Tacomas with their company name and info in vinyl all down the sides. They discovered that several nails were hammered all the way through the shingles and several adhesive strips were still covered. Which explained why my super fancy 3d shingles I paid extra for flew off in the wind.

The "pool boy" thing was a smear from lib journos. It was his long-term ex-girlfriend's biological son. He was the only dad the kid ever had, and while he didn't marry the girl to officially become Nestor's official stepdad, I think it's really nasty for the Democrats, who've spent ages dismantling the American family and trying to encourage divorces, to go after Gaetz's for-all-intents-and-purposes stepson.

(It also shows how fucking pervy the Dem establishment is when the only reason they could think for a man to be in a boy's life is a pederastic relationship.)

The same kind of mask-off moment happened when Vance campaigned and all these people who think it's fine to change your name every other week from Jinx to Eris are chuckling that Vance changed his last name to his stepdad's name. They hate people who try to heal broken families.

My suspicion is that Gaetz hasn't done anything criminal, but he does have a messy personal life and is not the most upstanding person in terms of conduct. He's a step up from Merrick Garland, I suppose, but only because he's a Republican and because he will probably do whatever Trump tells him to do in order to keep a prestigious position.
