On the phone but it's just that if you quote text, all or partial like you say, the Add Quote button doesn't appear if you hit Edit Post. But ua no biggie sine the thread moves so fast.
What I do in that instance is I hit “reply” on the text I have highlighted, then I select all, and then I copy the text. Then I paste it onto the post I’m editing.
Compassion only extends to murderers and rapists, babies are medical waste. Makes no fucking sense, but neither do liberals.
Also you can be transgender but gender is just a social construct apparently.

are the republicans worth a damn? my local gops are never trump neocons who want to cut government spending for everything including roadwork, sewage and water treatment. so I have to vote blue at the local level.
99% of that spending isn’t going to roadwork, sewage, and water treatment. It’s going to someone’s pocket. You’re getting played by the Democrats with classic fearmongering.

Trump only wanted it to be available as an option among many other treatments
Trump was a businessman, doing business. businessmen understand the true meaning of "The customer is always right". the media had whipped the public into a frenzy about covid and Trump was looking for any and all options to give to people which they could then choose from, exactly as our lady of grace capitalism dictated

the government fucked things up by letting bureaucracy and ideology get in the way of business

One thing that strikes me about this coming administration is how much of a reckoning it feels like. It just feels from the start like such a different beast compared to anything that came before. I remember listening to his appearance on joe rogan, that he went in underprepared in his first term, and just had to deal with too many people who were "in the swamp" taking up places because he didn't have anyone else for that position. And it feels like he spent pretty much all of the four years since 2020 correcting that.

And I think that failed assassination attempt was what really changed things. People, like null, have accused him of not really caring that much about fixing the country. And I think that is right to an extent before that shooting happened. People change a lot when they have a brush with death, and I think it changed trump a bit as a person. Before, it was just the boiling of the frog, people trying to defame you and tear you down through all the soft means. But when they took that shot, it was no longer a low boil and instead lighting a fire. He saw that an act of god had saved him, and that people who came out to support him were now dead. Dead, because of the news media and the swamp you were fighting against kept igniting hatred and vitriol.

The libshits are fucking terrified right now, because they fear this man doing 5% to them what they have done to him.

Um, no.

"Sexual Misconduct" is a leftist buzzword that came out of MeToo and cancel culture. It means "we have nothing to actually accuse him of but he gives us the ick and we want you to think he raped someone."

Trafficking a kid to fuck would be, I don't know, "trafficking a minor," "statutory rape," and maybe "sexual assault." Actual charges related to, you know, fucking a kid. Not "sexual misconduct."

"Sexual misconduct" just means they have nothing on him and want faggots like you to pretend to be shocked, offended, and outraged to try and damage an enemy from the other tribe. Die in a fire.

"Sexual misconduct" means flirting with a female (hopefully) politician or secretary. It's the most bullshit thing ever. Let humans be humans and have normal human interactions and relationships.

I have always thought Freedom Toons is cringe.

imo almost all "right wing comedy" in traditional formats is cringe with an exception here or there. I did like the freedom toons media reaction to the 7/13 shooting someone posted.

Shitposter/chan type comedy is good for us but most people don't have the 10 years of prereq knowledge to get it though.

The customer "is always right" is an outdated motto from over a century ago.

Businesses actually more use the mantra "The customer is always the customer".
It's all about the perception.

yeah this is why most right wing humor is like sam hyde esoteric stuff or its just dank memes. at least the humor I find funny that is, even that isn't for everyone.

For anyone looking for more info on what the fuck an mRNA ""vaccine"" is, and how it's nothing like a real vaccine, and how it fucks you up, and there's no way around it, Bret Weinstein has a great, newbie friendly explanation:

I was generally aware of this all based on a basic understanding of the tech. What this is are biohacking nerds desperate to turn biology into IT software as a service style stuff. The problem is the technology is at least 10-20 years away from being usable safely, if it ever will be. But they desperately want to normalize it becuase they're coming at this from an IT background not a healthcare background.

When you put out a bad patch for Windows, it crashes some machines and maybe some flights get delayed. (Hi, Crowdstrike.) When you put out a bad patch for Human 1.0, your BEST case scenario is people live through it. And there's no way to undo the "patches" these mRNA gene therapy shots do.

And this is assuming good faith on everyone involved, and as Weinstein points out, there's clearly no reason to assume that. There's no reason to be giving these shots to 6 month olds, other than the fact that if they admitted there's something wrong with the shot, every company involved -- and every single one of the big pharma companies are involved -- would be sued for Trillions of dollars.

When the RNC appointed Lara Trump as cochair, I cut them a hefty check, and she paid that back by being insanely on top of this election, in obvious contradiction to the strategies of designated loser Rona Romney.

My only fear with regard to these appointments is how Trump is giving everyone their due. Last time, Trump put Bolton in his cabinet as a favor to Sheldon Adelson. This go around, he's had the silent backing of some real murderous Jews who aren't the type to let him get away a second time with not invading Iran. Promises made and promises kept can get pretty rough...
I was thinking about the appointments while I was making breakfast this morning.

Trump's strategy, I think lines up with one of his standard operating procedures which is: hope for the best, plan for the worst.

The neocons in particular (now that other positions have been filled by independents) strike me as the planning for the worst, while also using them (like Bolton was used) as a strategy to get the best out of our rivals. Our foreign policy posture can be hopeful with Trump taking the lead and if Trump is unable to make a deal, well... we don't like neocons but they do know how to blow shit up real good. I am not very concerned about Ukraine being resolved so long as the Americans take a back seat, look out the window and listen to some music on their headphones.

Domestic politics seem to be running on a totally different track and that is one of pure antagonism and unabashed hostility toward the professional managerial class or the permanent state or the deep state. There is no planning for the best here, we have been at the worst for a while now.

And internationally, while I do think America's rivals will take pot shots here and there and probe for weakness, I think many are as hopeful as us here that maybe America can go back to being more of a normal country with a focus on diplomacy.

I have little fear of America being replaced and destroyed; such a thing is wholly unrealistic. The big players have just as much of an interest in America remaining in several places around the globe as the Americans do; ensuring maritime travel routes, pacifying the Europeans and arresting the military expansion of Japan and Korea. Plus even in its overextended state, America has a lot of strong cards to play.

The simple truth is that our leaders have insisted on Empire, rather than success. And we serve as a massive red, white and blue lesson to our rivals about the futility of Empire. I think they'd rather choose success and so should we.

Y'know Elon musk used to not want to allow trump back on Twitter

That's complete bullshit. One of the first things he did when he bought Twitter was a poll asking if Donald Trump should be unbanned. People voted yes (obviously) and he unbanned him. But Trump himself decided not to come back to it for ages and only really came back properly a few months before the election.

Dumb question but what is this clerk putting against her mouth during he trial? Is this how they translate Spanish for the defendant? Source https://x.com/CollinRugg/status/1857446905992618260

I just found it interesting because I didn't think we had a device that would let someone talk aloud and silently. Seems like it would be a great tool for people doing calls in loud public settings.

when was the last time dems actually fixed anything? I'm pretty sure flint Michigan still doesn't have clean water

That's a stenomask, modern court recorder stenography equipment. Speech-to-text transcription, etc.

Just wait until a few more years of Ozempic and all the related blood sugar problems and early deaths it'll cause.
I don't know what kinds of side effects from Ozempic and the like will be discovered in the future, but the people currently abusing it, and believing that there is such a thing as a "free lunch" (heh) in biology are fucking retards.

I'm not saying the Daily Mirror is good, I'm saying it's a major newspaper. And this was 20 years ago. I'm pretty sure to the outside observer there's a big difference between Piers Morgan and some little fag on not-YouTube crying that Donald Trump didn't promise to gas the jews.
yeah and the only difference between them is that one of was platformed by the conservative political establishment when he was the most useful retard avaliable to make as much noise as possible and the other - oh wait that describes both of them. they both exist to misdirect and lower the quality of discussion, its just that one of them isn't useful to the establishment anymore and they've had 30 years of experience of knowing better than to pay their lackeys - probably because they know piers morgan is the consequences of doing that. the man's entire career has been dick sucking at tabloids i don't know why you think he's somehow worthy of respect because he sucked the right dicks, he's a parasite not a business genius

For anyone who thinks American food is fine and anyways it’s too hard to fix, just look at one tiny example. Normal Heinz ketchup ingredients on Walmart.com vs Walmart.ca:

The price is even cheaper in Canada when currency conversion is factored in.

We do have foods with HFCS, but not as many from my constant inspection of food labels, and it’s the normal goyslop you would expect.

Canada’s Agricultural Products Act requires that all tomato juice sold in Canada has to come from "sound, whole, ripe" tomatoes. The United States has lesser standards, only requiring that tomato juice be made from tomato paste.

Long story short: Americans could be eating better versions of the food they love, but regulation and the market currently doesn’t deliver it to them.
