The conquering Spaniards ended up killing many natives in various ways and did spread their genes into the native population. However, people think Mexican equals Spanish + Native because the Mexicans/ South Americans themselves perpetuate it.

The Spaniards became the ruling class many countries, so saying you were part/half Spanish was a helpful thing. Many Latinos claim their ancestry is linked directly to Spain, when it's not. You'd be surprised how much inter-racism there is within Latin/South America. At the top of the heap are light skinned true Spanish and at the bottom are certain native sect/groups (usually very short and dark skinned). It's outright racism /classicism too, makes stuff in the USA look timid.

(Funny enough, Che Guevara was in the most elite group, his parents were wealthy, educated true Spanish/Irish in Chile. His first name is actually a nickname derived from him speaking proper Spanish, specifically a dialect from Valencia his parents spoke.)

Exactly, I have no personal problem with some destitute person risking everything to come to this country, work a back breaking manual labor job for little to criminally illegal low pay and then they send half of what they get back in wages home to support the rest of their clan, just like I have no problem with the Alphabet employees shipped in to pay a wage depressing salary in technology so the parent company can put up another billion in the black on the bottom line, outside of the fact I think they're both being payed too little for what they're doing, if anything. But if you're in the country illegally and you get caught, you need to face the music and pay the penalty once the process to deal with you runs its legal course, that's the risk side of the risk/reward ratio the immigration detainees are gambling with in their lives when they make these decisions, but of course you've got the Mooby winner demanding extra rights because of their feelings about their junk in every aspect of life, including, and especially, in this one right now!

Learn to avoid detention next go around a little better or follow the rules of the process so La Migra isn't interested in holding you in the first place.

I am so pleased there are people who at least know something about the true origins of Native Americans vs Europeans.
Technically Che's mother is Galician, not Irish, though, there is some evidence that Irish people did descend from the people of North West Spain (Galicia). I have a lot of family in Argentina that migrated from Galicia over a few generations, and a lot of them do have some Celtic features, red hair being one (but it's rare).
Back on to the topic, you would be surprised how racist some Indians (India) and Native Americans are toward Africans or African Americans. It's just ugly.

How does Phil (and his ilk) think other countries got their land? They just peacefully said "this is mine and this is yours?" Hell no. Every boarder was faught for. Entire people were wiped out so that another country could expand.

Also... if a white person from Canada came here illegally, they'd have the same problems Greta and Nina are having. Same as a white Norwegian, German, Spanard, or French person. They'd all get sent back. Immigration laws aren't "racist".
