I think one thing most people don't understand is that the goobers that get hassled usually don't play into it and get offended easily enough that Frank continues to bother them. Frank has said in the past that for every person he hassles he has like 5 people that he just leaves them alone. There's a few videos where he just shakes peoples hands and walks away and wishes them a nice day. Plus watching Frank deal with cops is funny as shit.

People that don't like Frank seem to take his hassling too seriously. Lots of people forget that Frank is playing a character when he's "Frank Hassle" and his very purpose in Fishtank is to push the fish to their limits.

Same here, its purely performative machismo. He has been doing it this whole time. Makes me sick. Alex writes checks with hit mouth all the time, but he doesnt act like little rat in quite the same way the pajeet does.

He ran away from Connor when he thought there was a chance of physical confrontation. No problem with that. However, once he realized it wasnt that serious to Connor, he started yelling and cussing at him.

I think there is a lot more of a story to it than just that and you can't look at his "work" purely through the lens of fishtank.

Alex is a persona that is relevant to that.

He's worked with Sam for several years at this point, not just since fishtank, in case you didn't know. I think the majority of the problem came from the previous fish knowing who Frank was beforehand. His schtick was blown before he even started. The current fish make for much better targets than previous fish.

To be fair, Frank's own videos aren't nearly as harsh as he is in Fishtank, he usually does Elementary School insults to people on the streets to make them freak out or he does some Tom Green style bit. You can argue that the Boogie2988 incident was too far but Boogie brought that on himself by taunting Frank to come to his house in the first place. And also fuck Boogie.

He's a lot more personal and harsh on Fishtank because he's more familiar with the fish than he his some random person, and he's there specifically to push them.

Just to quantify this a bit, the video was reuploaded on MDE's YT channel which was terminated. But there is a secondary source that mentions MDE uploading the video and crediting a channel (Frank's channel, which is also terminated from YT):
