Herrera lost by less than 500 votes. Gonzales was scared shitless that he ramped up the spending and ran attack ads on Herrera. He should have won because Gonzales is mega RINO and supported a gun control bill, hence Herrera launched a primary challenge against him. Hopefully he will run again someday.

A lot of them really do just hear "tariffs" and think "oh no my Funko pops will be more expensive!"

It's like they only ever got a lesson on tariffs and never heard of a subsidy in their lives despite benefitting from them since their birth. The shit that will get hit hard by tariffs will be the useless cheap chinkshit - aka things like Funko pops - but things that are important like semiconductors and food and auto parts etc will see companies receiving subsidies to bring their production lines here. America has vast natural resources, it's not like we have to buy coal or natural gas or anything from other places, we can produce our own raw materials. "Made in America" used to be like a global standard of quality, it's time we go back to that and start making our own stuff and making it better than cheap chinkshit from some popup company on Amazon.

I'm amazed the climate cultists aren't more on board with this plan because our worldwide addiction to buying shit from overseas instead of producing it ourselves is what drives much of the shipping and transportation and pollution they bitch about. Sure we'd still be using fossil fuels but we'd cut back tremendously on shipping waste, and Trump's team seems more likely to actually invest in nuclear energy than Kamala's was.

But then again climate cultists are in it for the grift.

I always wondered why the advent of mega stars seemingly stopped by the time of Tom Cruise/Keanu Reeves or thereabouts. Hell, most of the real bankable stars from the 00s that could still put arses in the seats are like in their 50s now. If this was a deliberate push then it would make sense.

I can't find the post now because it was probably somewhere in the election thread, but people seemed to agree that if you do McDonalds, you get a Big Mac AND a Filet O Fish if you want to really eat like a boss.

Does anyone notice how one of those meals is not like the others? 😁

You know, the most darkly humorous part about this Senate race is that since the Republicans have the majority no matter the outcome, the Dems have ultimately very little to gain and a LOT to lose by pushing to get Useless Bob reelected. Don't even get me started on the decline of Hollywood. Once upon a time, having a Hollywood actor/actress was a marvelous privilege to be greeted with talent, class and modesty. Imagine seeing them on the silver screen only to be blessed with their presence. Arrogance has ruined Hollywood.
