Tbh, those pleb vets are probably shit and have no experience spaying pets because the average Kuwaiti just dumps them in the street anyway.
Modern vets use a keyhole technique to spay female cats nowadays, which doesn't require the cats to be cut open anymore - it also significantly reduces aftercare complications because it's only one single stitch. I wouldn't expect the vets in Kuwait to be up to date or even experienced, though....
