Default keyboard controls don't matter and you are a dumbfuck if they bother you in any capacity.
I'm watching the Digital Foundry video on Red Dead Redemption PC. The guy complains about the default sprinting key bringing up the sticky keys popup.
Solution 1: Who gives a fuck? Bind it to something else.
Solution 2: Who gives a fuck? Disable sticky keys. Get this: the guy is such a passive faggot that he includes the footage of him dismissing the window instead of taking three seconds to disable sticky keys entirely.
Solution 3: Complain about it in a professional video.
Granted I use the arrow keys so I take rebinding for granted, I never start a game without touring the setting menus. Still, even if WASD is standardized enough, it never fails to amaze me that some people are so passive that they never rebind their controls if something doesn't feel right, or they find it a hurdle significant enough to warrant mention.
This guy isn't a random tiktoker, he's a supposedly turbo badass PC tech tinkerer. And he complains about default keybinds in a professional video. To me it's such a non-factor that you don't ever talk about it or even think about it ever. It's like buying a new car and complaining about the default orientation of the rearview mirror.
