The Game Awards 2024 (December 12) - Its 10 year anniversary

- Wukong should win GOTY. That is an actual game compared to Hoyofaggotry. Shadow of the Erdtree is a tolerable compromise, same with ReFantazio. Applies to Game Direction.
- Silent Hill 2 should not win anything, same with SW Outlaws and Hellblade 2.
- I'd like to see Wuthering Waves win just to see Hoyofags seethe.
- CS2 is a mess of an update but I would play that by default than pick anything from Riot, less so from a fucking mobile copycat version of it.
- If Balatro wins, everyone should have a mandatory viewing of Bossmanjack's thread.

EDIT: Also people should still not play Helldivers 2 until the fag devs actually remove the region restrictions as what they promised.

Not even a sign of Space Marine II, the OTHER game that people actually remember this year other than Wukong. They didn't even nominate Pizza Tower last year, so why fucking Balatro this year?

The choices for this list are really weird and arbitrary. It's almost as if people involved with it either have extremely shitty taste or only picked games based off their popularity with normalcattle.
Reminds me of that awful, awful chart 8/v/ tried making a few years back for Japanese, only to fail spectacularly and the few Japanese who ever saw it shrugging their shoulders in apathy. Just like with the Game Awards, games were seemingly picked at random, usually based off the limited lens of the userbase/maker of the chart and their personal taste rather than choosing games that deserve those spots.
Again, people should make their own "Game Awards" and stick it to this conman. There is already quite a few glaring omissions pointed out in this thread, there have to be more.

If they really stuck with this mindset, we'd instead have Zenless Zone Zero on the GOTY. It still baffles me that Balatro was even in it given that people clearly forgot about it and the ones that stuck with it are Bossmanjack Jr.s in the making. Hell, I didn't even expect them to mention Manor Lords at all, and yet they did and that game is still in early access.

It has been a catastrophic year for gaming but still we got Palworld, EDF 6, Stellar Blade, Wukong and Space Marine 2 at least. Out of those either Palworld, EDF 6 or Stellar Blade should be the real game of the year regardless of these retarded leftist kikes would try to sell to the niggercattles.

There is no fixing these braindead faggots but the choice to hasten their inevitable bankruptcy by not funding them is up to the coooonsoooomers. So yeah this charade will probably continue for a few more years.

Astrobot is more of a ripoff than even Stellar Blade is of Nier: Automata but this is how they balance sucking of Soyny while owning the Chuds.

People just watch the VGAs for the game announcements but I expect either wokeshit, live-service slop (so the usual Fortnite-CoD-Hoyo garbage), mobile game faggotry and the very miniscule ultra-rare chance of a game that everyone is actually excited about to appear.

The best part of this show, and one of the only good reasons to watch it, is the Orchestra playing a medley of the Goty contenders. The one from 2019 was really good, with Death Stranding, Smash Bros and Sekiro's theme being great:
