Dude if I thought I had a chance I would have already applied. They're going after the woke shitheads that ruined gaming and GamerGate drove a shitload of autistic tech kids to the libertarian right, and it's only gotten worse for the left since then.

Yes, he'll get people to volunteer. You vastly underestimate how many people want to see the left's toys taken away.

You'd be surprised how many will. My first thought was they'd get so many responses they'd never get through them all. Didn't Musk do the same thing with his Mars mission? Ask for applicants basically willing to die on a one-way mission to choose the first team from? One of the space companies did, I remember Cody from Cody's Lab wanting to do it. Any way you can imagine they were inundated with kooks for that too.
