Jet freaked out because he was telling Payton not to assault their actors and Frank is "SAG-AFTRA" and complaining about the fish, which finally got Burt to realise that Frank is not in fact bisexual and in love with him. As Burt got to the denouement, Jet made it into a scene and started from the top, and then when Burt finally gave Frank an ultimatum, Frank's approach was to ask for a reshoot (and then scheme with Jet and decide not to return, with Frank wandering off to fuck with Jeff more).
I reckon Frank is biding him time to get Burt alone again - his manipulation tactics don't work on Burt when Burt's surrounded by the other fish he likes.

Honestly for all the fanboys that he has, when you take into account the 9/11 tattoo, being pretty overweight and chainsmoking like fuck he doesn't look like he is intending to live for very long. Reminds me of some of the various stand-up comedians and actors that lived like that (minus the 9/11 tatoo) and just up and died one day from a heart attack or whatever.

This is something I alluded to many pages ago, but I think people keep making the mistake of seeing "Frank" as a persona or character. I strongly think that it isn't. This is Frank. It's just a certain mode of his persona that he scales up and down depending on what he wants to do.

Fuck I am extremely disappointed they undid franks sissy hypnosis. The only interesting social dynamic in the tank was the Master Blaster thing going on with Frank and Burt.

It's his sense of humor for sure and it has to be a part of him for him to even think it up and do it in the first place but it's something I think he exaggerates when in character. You see him in the tank when he's out of character throughout Fishtank and he's just hanging out with the fish and not hassling them, that's the real Cameron I think. It's very similar to how Sam Hyde turns it on and off even when he's in the tank.

I'm just speculating of course, I don't know for a fact and you could be absolutely right.

No, my argument is that he was this person long before MDE/fishtank, "dedicating his life to the character" would imply he had this all as an end-goal, and I do not think that is the case, he was like this ages ago.

All MDE/fishtank really did IMHO was give him a way to make an income and some semi-stability from it - if that hadn't happened then its hard to say what would've happened, but you can't really make money from being Frank any other way. Any YouTube channel or whatever would just get banned and there's probably no other group besides MDE who would see any potential in it.

I think its really hard to tell where Frank and Cameron start and stop, that is kind of the long term issue with something like this.
