I still think it's odd how Chris flipped out over a relatively normal picture taken of him at the GAMe PLACe, yet he himself uploads far more odd pics.

How aware is Barb of Chris' internet notoriety? She seems generally aware Chris has a following from her e-begging video, but it surprises me that a parent wouldn't be more engaged with his online life, especially after the "Classic Chris" scandals. Your generous insight would me appreciated @Marvin

For all the jokes about Barb and Chris being lovers, I believe that this is the true dynamic between them. Bob was mean/cold to Barb (especially toward the end) so she turned to Chris as a form of friend, perhaps even "surrogate spouse."
This seems sort of an odd form of parenting, and not a terribly healthy one.
Barb seems somewhat selfish for doing that to Chris. Given his autism, it was for the best that she tried to encourage him to form relationships with other people with autism and not draw him into her own little world. Then again, the latter was probably more in line with her interests.
Emotional incest seems sad to me. It seems both perpetrator and victim are sad and lonely at some level. For some reason it seems more of a mother/son kind of thing than father daughter though I could be wrong.
Any thoughts on this?

Barb barely knows what the internet is. Before the e-begging, she didn't really even see any evidence of Chris' following that she couldn't chalk up to IRL pranksters like Megan and "them gay kids".
I don't think she thinks too much about it since the ebegging either, other than when she needs some money.
