The Ukraine isn't Korea and Kursk is Russia. Kursk is nothing new either but last time it resulted in the Red Army mowing down anything in its path through the Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, Lithuania/Estonia to Berlin.

None of that matters. None of the CSTO have supplied Russia with front line combat units. Belarus, the only ally bordering both Russia and Ukraine, has yet to send any of it's own into Ukraine. The only nation to have formally supplied Russia with troops is North Korea and those guys are likely going to stay within Russia's borders.

NK has a mutual defense treaty with Russia so if there were any troops they would've stayed in Russia proper dealing with the Kursk invasion. I wouldn't find that odd at all and foolish for NK to not take an opportunity to give their troops experience.
