I was certainly waiting on the edge of my seat to find out what Lichtman was going to do today and if he would leave X or not.

This and his other recent behavior just proves his "keys" were not based on any shred of reality but were based on pure biased ideology. I didnt even know who this fag was until a few weeks ago.

What's hilarious is that this Lichtman guy thinks there are still people wanting to follow him after being so catastrophically wrong. Like he has a real fanbase and shit.

The MSM does this every election cycle, pick out some literal who prognosticator nobody has ever heard of who's "never been wrong" and props them up to push the agenda they want pushed. When it fails they just find another one next time. This election they found this Lichtman guy and the crazy lady who missed Iowa by 15 points. They will be forgotten in favor of a new nobody next election.

I think he's referencing Einsatzgruppen vans from WW2 where they would hook the exhaust up to the back of the truck to kill people. I have no idea if that is historically accurate.

Thing is, it's been said many many times but a correct interpretation of the keys would have predicted a Trump win, it's just that Lichtman has fucking TDS. He didn't seem to think that Trump was charismatic (or a national hero, which he certainly was after being shot) and he didn't seem to think that the Afghanistan debacle counted as a military failure

If this guy had half a brain he could've salvaged this scam for 2028 by explaining how he interpreted the keys wrong and the model actually did predict Trump would win. Next time won't be so convoluted you see!

Yeah, the OP does an amazing job at distilling it down.

As Bluesky's userbase pretty much consists of all the leftists and smug trannies that left Twitter due to Musk's alteration of Twitter's moderation policies, the Bluesky app has ended up becoming an even bigger echo chamber and hugbox with even stricter moderation to crush dissent.

They crowdsource their moderation, so the entire user environment is 100% vulnerable to, and encourages, reactionary dogpiling, shadowbanning, and other tomfoolery. It is hilarious.

I understand him trying to compensate for a weird situation. However, once she did The View interview where she said she couldn't think of anything she would do different from the Administration she was a part of, he should have made a call to mark her as incumbent. But he wanted to pretend he's got the most objective takes around, and that would have exposed the judgement calls necessary for such modeling.
