One of PPP's stock aphorisms he repeats all the time is "sometimes you're the hammer, and sometimes you're the nail." I member during the Dickers segments, he would always manage to sneak in the idea that the reason Dickers was floundering is that he really wanted to be the hammer, but couldn't stand being the nail, while KC was better than him bc they knew how to be both the hammer and the nail.
