It's honestly amazing how Tvtropes has never had a good administrator. They've only had ~3 and they've all been awful in some way. Fast Eddie was a 50 year old toddler, Fighteer is the single most hated person on the platform because he's an asshole, and these new guys are petty tyrants throwing tantrums over people not using the site how they want.

I think they have the same problem as 4chan; no one sane wants to buy this fucking thing so they get stuck with weirdos and sellouts.

Fighteer was not an administrator, he was a powertripping jannie. But your point still stands re: Eddie and this new guy, Kory.

The reason was that he believed that quoting someone in an argument was lazy, I believe.

It's another reason the forums are so hostile. If you come in with something you want to talk about, you have to "go with the flow" of the conversation until it's appropriate to insert it. You can't just reply to someone who mentioned something 2 pages ago or else every guy after you gets on your ass.

Because an event where the only violent death was an unarmed woman being shot in the head by the police is totally comparable to "slaughtering the congress"
