They always use it blackwash characters and yet I noticed in the picture that Robin (despite the fact that Oda said she would be from Russia in the real world) is blackwashed, and their excuse would be "Some Russians are black!". Yet they never apply the same logic to some people from Brazil being white. Its just another bullshit excuse to blackwash characters for no reason other than their own prejudice.

I've seen artists depict Robin with darker skin due to Toei giving her a tan by mistake in the earlier episodes. But of course, some people overdo it by drawing her with hairy arms, scars and even darker skin than what she originally had in the anime.
