Russian Special Military Operation in the Ukraine - Mark IV: The Partitioning of Discussion

Bullshit. For 70 odd years the West has developed an advanced system of ICBM detection. There is no way, with all the nuclear saber raddling Russia has been doing that the West isn't looking at Russia closely. If NATO says it wasn't an ICBM it wasn't one. What is it with Ukraine lying or claiming the most extreme stuff?
NATO said "no ICBM "because to normies like the ukie supporters that means nukes, rather than just the delivery system. Russia has a lot more of said delivery systems and well even north korea rivals or beats the USA in test launches (the USA cannot hide their testing of such conspicuous rockets flying overhead, so no super secret icbm testing base on mars or alaska).

When it came to the tech it was confirmed as next to over when Vandenberg handed space for launches to SpaceX, that was the primo testing grounds and nothing of the like has replaced it.

The Neocons whom infect the infospace in the west truly believed they could just psyop themselves over any challenge.

I initially thought it was just hohols lying.

But the video does show something unusual. Perhaps milspergs know what the weapon is.

It appears to produce no big explosion upon intact and looks like 6-8 long glowing beams of molten metal very rapidly dropping from the sky in groups.

Maybe it is a mirv warhead pscked with tungsten rods to royally fuck up ammo storage bunkers?
Assuming that this was an ICBM with either a conventional [non-nuclear] warhead or merely an "unarmed" delivery system that can cause a ton of damage just by moving really fast, an ancillary goal may have been to illustrate that the Elbonian warthog-people might still have some air-defense capabilities, they're not going to be able to stop ICBMs and that they better knock their shit off. If we're to consider that the use of long-range weapons by the mudlands is meant primarily as a negotiating tactic for once Trump returns to power, this is Russia's adults in charge replying with, "you funny guy; I kill you last".

This is it for NATO. tranny faggots! Soon all of Kiev and their faggots will get fucked in the ass by the mighty Russian bear! Turn it all to glass Putin and send them crying as they dilate! Millions of NATO mercenaries will be vaporized and Russia will be back in Berlin in 2 weeks count on it!
What a weird cope.

It definately had clusters of 6 shots per volley, I doubt that was just a launch vehicle breaking out that perfectly.
As @Badungus Kabungus mentioned, scuttlebutt is that it is some sort of multiple independently targetable re-entry vehicle... If that's the case and, in keeping with the multiple "shots" angle that the videos appear to show, it would really be something if this was a tangible "rods from God" type weapon - something I always considered a bit pie-in-the-sky - and they've been holding it in reserve for just this sort of shenanigans.

Possibly the warheads were inert and it was a test of the delivery system. Still impressive.

The soft, gay eyes of NAFO.

If NATO says it wasn't an ICBM it wasn't one.
The media is quoting "US sources" who claim it's not an ICBM because it was an IRBM :smug:. Because that's completely different, right.

But I don't think Russia has any IRBM's anymore.

Whatever it is it looks dope and scary as fuck. Truly like god has opened a portal to rain hellfire on the hohols.

With my limited wiki knowledge wouldn't that most likely be a MIRV? The ICBM would then just be the plattform to deploy.

Regarding tungsten rods, I know fuck all about military hardware but knowing the weight of metals, I don't think it would be practical. The weight of tungsten would make it ideal as a kinetic weapon, but you also need to get that tungsten up in the air/space. That is going to take a shit load of fuel, making the missile bigger, which makes it heavier, needing more fuel, etc.

Loving all the usual faggots in the EU, US etc saying what a huge unprovoked escalation it would be by Russia if they launched an ICBM. Completely glossing over the fact the west LITERALLY JUST allowed Ukraine to launch western missiles into Russia, plus supplying US made landmines for good measure. How could anyone see this coming? I hold out hope that the idea of an ICBM being launched may make some of these bloodthirsty queers in the comments section of the BBC etc rethink their position of supporting Ukraine at any cost. But I'm sure I'll be let down.

Russia has unveiled a new weapon system as a warning to Ukraine and the West.
Russia has apparently launched a single RS-26 Rubezh road mobile missile against a target in Dnipro, Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk).
According to Ukrainian authorities, the missile struck an unnamed industrial enterprise.
Dnipro is home to the Pivdenmash (former Yuzhmash) missile production facility.
Analysis of imagery of the attack indicates the RS-26 carried six independent warheads, each in turn deploying several submunitions.
This warhead package is exclusively for conventional attack.
Russia had not been previously assessed to outfit the RS-26 with a warhead of this design.
By unveiling the conventionally armed RS-26, Russia is changing the qualitative nature of the conflict, something promised by President Vladimir Putin.
Ukraine and its Western allies must now evaluate the destructive potential of this weapon, and understand that Russia can deliver this warhead to any target in Ukraine or Europe knowing there is no defense against it.
The RS-26 is produced in Votkinsk. It is assessed that the production of the RS-26, which was halted in 2017, was resumed this past summer. With production rates estimated at 6-8 missiles per month, Russia could have accumulated an arsenal of between 30-40 RS-26 missiles. Although described as an intercontinental ballistic missile, the RS-26’s range actually depends on the warhead package. If armed with a single warhead, it can exceed the 5,000 kilometer threshold used to differentiate between intermediate and intercontinental range missiles. The RS-26 did not go into serial production because of this ambiguity; at the time, Russia was a signatory to the INF treaty, which prohibited intermediate range missiles.
It is assessed that the six warhead conventional warhead package used against Dnipro would have made the RS-26 used fall into the intermediate range for classification.
Donald Trump withdrew from the INF treaty in 2019.
If the United States had remained in the treaty, this version of the RS-26 would not have been available for use by Russia.

If it was an ICBM they probably did tell the US in advance, just not through channels available to the public.

Would explain the embassy evacuation.
Since the Cold War era, Moscow and Washington have given each other advance notice about ICBM launches to prevent the other side from perceiving a test launch as a nuclear attack.

They have stuck to exchanging such warnings despite increasing tensions — which ratcheted up again in recent days.
